Small but nice visitors center with good little gift shop and helpful staff and informative pamphlets and displays about Lewis and Clark trails and origins. No food or drinks offered inside or anywhere within walking distance outside. Pretty little landscaped walking area outside near the great "Bob" pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River.

Use your public lands! They are everyone's, and protected for you to enjoy!

There were several small exhibits we walked through with our kids. They enjoyed feeling the animal hides and looking at the replicas of old tools and gadgets used by the explorers. The place was not a big or entertaining as I expected, but we didn't spend much time there. We did walk around the grounds as the weather was decent. There is also a nice pedestrian bridge going over the Missouri river and fountains the kids played in that were all accessible from the same area; we didn't have to move the car at all.

They let my son get a Junior Ranger badge by completing a short fun booklet. The land bridge is really cool as well.

Friendly and helpful staff. 25 minute video about the Lewis and Clark Adventure. Interesting things to read. There is also a gift shop. I wish there was more than one floor.
