I went to exchange the size on a pair of slippers I’d bought as a gift. Even though the purchase had been less than a month ago, I was told the price had gone up and I’d have to pay $20 more. When I objected I was offered a compromise of $10. I took a refund, went home and ordered them online for the original price I’d paid.
