Great campground, firewood is pay per split bundle or free unsplit. Sites all have good shelter and privacy. A little ways from town but only ten minutes or so. A really nice place, camping is always perfect.

Lake is so big that you can see only water on horizon line. Which is quite rare sight in Alberta! The beach is quite crowded but the quality of sand was much better than what we expected. The place is kept clean and tidy. As for water, it's a bit muggy and dirty looking, but hey. No dead jellyfish or floating seaweed. I mean it's near best you can get in Alberta really.
