Dans un décor raffiné et une ambiance décontractée, Leméac propose les incontournables des grands bistros. Leméac mise également sur une carte des vins recherchée, une sélection de fromages québécois ainsi qu'un choix de desserts faits « maison ».

Since 2001, you can enjoy at Leméac a taste of classic French cuisine. Our bistrot specializes in traditional fare like steak frites, short rib, home-style blood pudding and cabillaud. The menu also offers an elaborate wine list, a selection of Quebec cheeses and a variety of homemade desserts.

We enjoyed this restaurant. I find the menu well designed and executed. There is a nice atmosphere with lots of windows. The server was very nice however there’s some room for improvement, there was a lot of waiting around for things. Either way when I went up to pay the bill the manager offered to comp the drinks without me asking for anything. This was appreciated. I would go back to try their evening menu.
Leméac was the perfect place for a client dinner. The atmosphere was upscale and not loud. The service was perfect. We never felt rushed, and she was very well-versed in the wines and all other aspects of the restaurant. You order everything at once, and they have a perfect pace for bringing out the food. You have plenty of time for each course. The food was excellent! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a fantastic experience while impressing their dinner guests!
From all the restaurants I visited in Montreal this is without a doubt the best.nFood taste is excellent, service is impeccable and atmosphere is great. The quality to price ratio is very high; you would expect unreasonable prices like other restaurants that are not that good. This restaurant deserves not only a Michelin mention, but also a Michelin star!
What a wonderful little gem. We went for brunch on a double date with our friends and everyone was thrilled with their meals.nnTwo of us had the poached egg on blinis, which tasted like a cloud of bliss — the flavours were beautifully balanced and paired perfectly. My husband chose the potato leek tartelette and it was absolutely fantastic as well. Another at our table enjoyed the omelette with salad, which she says is her go-to here.nnThe side of mushrooms was an absolute must, rich and savoury, and I could have eaten the entire plate myself. And the beignets for dessert were outstanding — warm, fluffy, and incredibly fresh.nnA truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Would absolutely return.nnThe service was very pleasant. The restaurant is on the louder side but it didn’t bother us. We sat on the heated patio side mid October. Was very warm and pleasant.
The food was good overall, while the salmon tartare was a bit too fishy for my taste, everything else was delicious, especially the duck confit. However, the service was disappointing at first as several staff members passed us without acknowledging us and we had to wait a while for the hostess which was odd because it wasn’t busy just before 6:00pm. Overall, the experience was just ok.
