Legacy Hospital Emergency Department

There are too many people living here now for the size of this emergency room. I had to bring my mother here who is on chemo, so sitting in the waiting room for 8 hours was not ideal. We ended up sitting outside all day long. In the end, we got to see a doctor in a hallway surrounded by violently I'll people. Just awful. The poor doctors and nurses, just overwhelmed with chaos. If I woke up tomorrow bleeding from my eyes, I wouldn't go back to this ER. It's sad, but they are unable to help there. It's just not possible under the stress of the waiting room capacity.

I can't stand that I have to even click one star. This place is where you go to die if it's anything more than common cold. They've held our loved one in a HALLWAY following a MAJOR STROKE. Hours ago she should have been transferred to a capable facility, but they think doing the CT was enough. Nevermind that ongoing needs are being ignored and these nurses have the audacity to give attitude when asked questions. If you're looking for Dr assisted suicide....go here.

You get one star because I am forced to leave one to leave a review. If I had my way you wouldn’t even get one. 1. Your nurses are rude and try to diagnose before we even see a doctor. 2. Doctor was just as unpleasant. Unwilling to listen to my concerns as a mother stating what a “nurse” charted instead of what was coming out of mine and my daughters mouth. I can not believe the disrespect and lack of compassion we received and witnessed today. 3. If you want to die in the waiting room this is where you go. Don’t expect a room. You will be lucky to have privacy of a chair in the hall. Most people had to sit with an IV in the waiting area. 4. This place was filthy. Not once did I see anyone clean between people being triaged or getting vitals. Don’t get me started on the floors and waiting area. My nine year old pointed out the bandaids stuck to the wall.

Toddler had 104 and 103 tempature with rashes. Watched as 5 homeless people came after me and left before I was even called as well as a lady that sprained her ankle at sky zon. Need to have a priority list. 2 hours of waiting with son with chills and not even motrin given.

Disgusting and unkempt facilities. Uncaring and disrespectful staff except a rare few nursing and tech staff. Communication is very poor. I left with the same issues with which I came. Be prepared—if you have Kaiser or any out of network insurance you cannot see any specialists at this facility even if it is emergent.

I sent my daughter here because she was catatonic and I was worried about her o2 levels. Protocol is when she goes into this catatonia to administer IM medicine. They refused to and wanted her to get a mental eval from social services to place her somewhere else first. Like really how can she get evaluated in an unconscious state. Administrating this med it would only take a hour and we’d get to leave. 13 hours we were there.. we never seen one DR at all they clearly don’t know anything. It could’ve causes death. While Someone in the ER who could’ve really needed the bed I’ll never take anyone in my family to this place anymore. It use to be much better when it was first built. Not anymore.

Well after years of dodging COVID I got it. After being in the cesspool of Legacy hospital’s emergency room I got it. 4 and half hours sitting in the waiting room and watching everyone get helped but my almost 77 year old mother -it was ridiculous. During that time people were coughing like crazy and sick in general. NO one cleaned the waiting room area! It was gross. Avoid Legacy if you can. What a joke and it’s so nice that this place is spreading COVID.

Great experience . I unfortunately used legacy salmon creek emergency several times in the past. They are always nice, helpful, respectful and are as fast as possible no matter how many people are waiting. Thank you. staff

Terrible terrible staff! No compassion or patience! I get that they see a lot and deal with a lot but they are in a job and environment that people do not need your ugly attitudes and lack of ability go above and beyond for patients!!!

The waiting room in the ER is a little busy. But the ultrasound technician was pretty good at her job. She was nice and did her work flawlessly, even had some nice conversation about my town of residence. The triage was also pretty smooth sailing. Other then the wait times things were pleasant.
