Been here a few times and it’s been great every service. The food is impeccable even as takeout. The decor is fun especially if you like the anime classics. I went today and as I was eating with my partner, my super friendly server asked if I wanted hot sauce to accompany my meal. I said sure. He described it with all the ingredients and proceeded to hand me the tiniest 1/4 teaspoon of sauce in a tiny sample paper cup. Although everything was great, I was mislead as the dab of sauce was charged at the end of my meal. In the end, the food remains unbeatable and I will be coming back.
A small and cute place! The service was amazing and the restaurant's interior/atmosphere was phenomenal. Went with a group of 3 people, my friend ordered Gyudon August's special, I ordered the Korokkedon, and my another friend ordered the Oyakodon. The Okyadon slapped the hardest out of the 3 dons. It's a bit walk from the Metro, though worth going if you're a big nerd that loves food.
Very cool spot Staff is very candid and make you feel very comfortable. You definitely come for the amazing food and stay for the conversation. Must try for sure. Instant favorite Try the hot sauces :
Service with Alex was incredibly warm, he makes great house special drinks. Don’t forget to ask him about his mocktails too. I got the juicy pork and my friend the fried chicken dishes for mains - both excellent. Takoyaki and fried chicken starters fantastic and the flan dessert was a nice cap to our meal. The anime playing and decor give a cozy vibe. If you ask for their hot sauces, they’ll happily make you try to their deadliest sauces/oils.
I came across this gem while walking on the streets dealing with a hangry girlfriend and wow did this spot ever make her feel better! The food is delicious and the staff is even better. Alex and Eric treated us like family and were very good at giving recommendations and making us laugh. Also, their hot sauces are out of this world. A must for anyone who likes Japanese food and culture. Thanks again guys! We’ll definitely be back soon.
Small and cozy place. The food was very good, portion was a little bit smaller than I expected but the flavor was still good. Service was nice, very friendly.Food: 4/5
These 3 veg dishes veg gyoza, tofu egg rice, potato curry balls and Japanese slaw I had were great but I also ordered the natto and the purin and I don’t think the purin was fresh but it was still edible and the natto was not edible; definitely rotten so that was a disappointment but now I know what’s good at least. I was able to get a refund on skip for the natto but not a full refund for the purin
Incredible food and such nice staff! We came back 2x in less than 12 hours lol during a short trip in Mtl because we enjoyed the food soooo much. Staff treats you like friends and it feels so homey. Great job at building this amazing place! Will definitely come back in the future.Food: 5/5
Delicious food! Loved the atmosphere and had loved having a chat with the owner. Also the dishes are all super well priced! I got the miso sauce katsudon which is only available for May. Would definitely come visit again!Food: 5/5
Cute, little resto, ate at the bar and we chatted with the co-owners! Tried the takoyaki, miso katsu-don and the regular katsu-don, with some mocktails carefully prepared by the server! Everything was delicious and well prepared!Food: 5/5
