Great Japanese restaurant. Food is really good! Everything from the makis to the chicken including the dessert is really tasty and fresh. The service is really Friendly. Just don't come here if you are looking just for sushi.

Absolutely fantastic. I've eaten here three times and each time was terrific. Wonderful ambience, delicious and traditional good with lots of vegetarian options and exquisite flavour. It doesn't hurt that all of the staff is extraordinarily warm and nice. On top of all that, it's very reasonably priced. This is my new favorite restaurant in the city

Don't expect to have your food ready within a dozen of minutes. We have sat and waited for over an hour. The food is decent and fresh. They won't bring all the dishes at once. Actually, they cook it one by one and it takes a LONG TIME. Poor a/c circulation. Last of all the waitress skinny doesn't understand English or French. I had to show her a picture of a certain food so she could understand.

We had such a wonderful experience. The food was beautiful and expertly prepared. An authentic Japanese oasis in the heart of the mile-end. Thank you Mai for teaching us some useful Japanese words and table etiquette.

Awesome food and peaceful ambiance

Food is good and well made but lack of variety because not enough costumers like to come to such a classic place. Seems that people like to go to trendy place that serve flashy food that are overpriced but lack deepness. Not sure much longer this authentic classic place will survive..

My favorite Japanese restaurant! Excellent sushi, and other fish dishes are also worth trying ask chef's recommendation. From my Japanese point of view, their dishes are quite authentic.

A nice quiet place with very tasty food. Service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind. Has warm and cold sake.

Authentic food, but slow service. Wish the portions were a bit bigger, or at least have home appetizers available on the menu. Menu needs more selection, and restaurant needs more employees.

Despite the restaurant being almost empty, service was incredibly slow. The food was ok but overpriced. The dishes are small.
