Story

***Welcome to LeBLANC boutique***

My name is Marcie LeBlanc and I've been designing and sewing for 20 years. I went to Fashion Design school at Blanche MacDonald in 2004 and realized my obsession with fashion and designing was real! After completing the program I worked at the institute for a few years then moved to Victoria to open a clothing boutique with a friend/ fellow designer. We wanted a studio and space where we could showcase our pieces. The boutique was open for 4 years and at one point had 2 locations. LeBLANC boutique enabled me to avidly be designing and making clothing, jewelry and accessories. It simply made me happy. A great opportunity arose to teach once again at the Pacific Design Academy in Victoria in the Fashion Design department, and it was an offer I couldn't resist. I decided to close the boutiques but knew I would re-open one day. I taught at the school for 2 years, but never stopped my designing and custom work for clients.

I recently made the move back North to my hometown of Prince Rupert, BC, and re-opened LeBLANC boutique in Cowbay. Creating is a way of self-expression and simply a way of life for me. Nothing brings me more joy than being creative and executing my ideas threw different forms of design.
