Le Surcouf

Let me start by saying that the service was impeccably attentive. One member of my party is "gluten free" she mentioned it just in passing while ordering starters. The owner without prompting asked her if they should make her gluten free bread. This in and of itself was unexpected! The food was magnificent! The lobster bisque was out of this world! The lamb was tender and juicy. Deserts were fabulous! Location was great! Bravo to the proprietor!

It's really one of my favourite restaurant. The food is very good and service perfect. So if you're at the area you have to try. 👌👌👌👍👍👍

Le Surcouf is simply the finest dining experience in Ste-Anne. Exceptional quality without pretention or snobbishness. The food is as fantastic on a regular night as it is on the Bistro menu (Sun-Thurs). The finest service, wonderful French dish variety and personable staff can be expected any night of the week. Furthermore, they have the most solid gluten-free menu around, and are deeply attentive to Celiac needs. We live in the neighbourhood and frequent the restaurant, and are always treated so warmly, like close friends. Would highly recommend for any day of the week--stop by if you're in town!!!
