There were melted bread tags in 2 out of the 5 poutines that our family ordered. Yes melted plastic bread tags! The manager didn't charge us for these 2 poutines. We felt this was an unsatisfactory way to address the situation. We have been loyal customers for 25+ years, it was our favorite go-to place for poutine, We won't be going back.
The inventor of poutine here at Drummondville’s very own “Le Roy Jucep”! This place is a Diner style restaurant with quite a large seating area and bar stool seating and small booths. Perfect lighting. Amazing waitresses and chefs! Polite, courteous, service. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING POUTINE!!!! Fries well cooked, Cheese is truly special from the Saint-Guillaume Fromagerie about a 30 minute drive down the road. A Range of Sauces available. Also known for their Jucep orange shakes. Orange julep has nothing on these guys!
Service was very slow for 2 poutines but it was worth the wait. I think it's one of the best poutines I've ever had. Too bad it's in Drummondville. I live in north shore but if I'm ever in Drummondville I'm going to stop by for sure Parking: A lot of places
The poutine is just okay, not amazing. Fries could be cooked a little more, gravy is a little sour. They might have invented the dish but their recipes hasn't changed since 1964. In 2021, the market is very competitive and for a guy like me who's from Montreal, the detour is not worth it at all. UPDATE: The poutine gave me an explosive diarrhea
Gotta say I was disappointed. The poutine was so close to being great but the sauce was off-putting; too sweet or something odd that I couldn't put my finger on. Just couldn't eat it as a result. Slaw was great and chicken was good though.
The food was delicious! The poutine and pizza were amazing and flavorful, also the beer was on point. Definitely a place I will recommend to stop by
For the "inventor" of poutine, this poutine was a complete let down. The sauce was sickening sweet something really off about it and the fries were mediocre. The cheese they used was the only good thing thank God. This was worse than St-Hubert and Benny & Co and I thought those poutines were horrible, this place takes the award for the worse poutine. I will definitely not be going here again or would I recommend anyone else to. NY Fries poutine and the Orange Julep is by far way better than this. My recommendation: Save your money and go somewhere else.

I was on my way back from Quebec City, wanted to try this place because I love Poutine! Unfortunately the poutine did not live up to its expectations. The poutine sauce was overly sweet and it tasted odd. The cheese was on point, but the sauce was a no-go. I do hope the owners take my review into consideration and work on the poutine sauce because they could definitely hit the mark if they work on the sauce.
You have to get the poutine if you visit. One of the poutines with the smoked meat is the way to go!Food: 5/5
