En plus d’être une table contemporaine et réjouissante, le restaurant Le Local est un concept citadin unique depuis 2008.

Situé au coeur du Vieux Montréal, dans une bâtisse qui retentit encore des échos de son passé, sa salle aux volumes spectaculaires peut accueillir jusqu’à 155 couverts, terrasses comprises.

Du côté des fourneaux, une inspiration « local » est amenée sur chaque assiette, en favorisant les produits de saisons. Chaque bouchée est unique; elles laissent entrevoir le travail de notre chef et de nos cuisiniers, passionnés à créer des alliances gustatives que l’on se souvient, longtemps.

The service was incomparable. Patrice was very helpful and incredibly nice. Every single thing we took on the menu was delicious. 100% coming back here. The restaurant itself is beautiful as well. My favorite was the three cheese ravioli and the smore’s.

Nice place, food is good. I like the vibe. The server didn't ask me how I like my meat. I would have liked my bread a little hot. Overall it was honest for the price.

Great & trendy spot in the Old Port of Montreal. Posh crowd. Young professionals love to gather there for happy hour with coworkers.  The food is delightful ! Menu is creative and dishes are mostly made of local ingredients.  Service is excellent and the waiters are very professionnal.  I have been here about 3 times, and Im ne er dissapointed.  A bit pricey, but the overall experience is  worth my coins !

The food was wonderful and the portions just right. Service is a bit slow, but well spaced so you can enjoy a glass and a conversation. The music is at a good volume and the place was clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Everything about our evening at Le Local was excellent. From the cocktails to main dish everything was delicious. The beef carpacio was the best I ever had and the three cheese ravioli in duck sauce was outstanding. A bit out of the way when you're in Old Montreal but well worth the extra blocks.

Our two families decided to celebrate this New Year’s Eve by having the restaurant special 7 courses meal - from oysters & champagne mignonnette, and chorizo madeleine as amuse-gueule to ceviche of delicate scallops, decadent foie gras and superb black cod, tender duck and delectable filet mignon, it was such a memorable feast for the eyes and the stomach! This was one of the most memorable feast I have ever eaten... and we also loved the jazz band! A perfect way to start the New Year.

Nice place. Pleasant atmosphere. Had the group menu so not sure what the regular menu is like. Well executed dishes and pleasent staff.

Went there 3 or 4 times over a period of five years and this place never disappoint. A tad on the expensive side but they have unique plates. Would recommend.
