What a fantastic find. This wonderful auberge has a really friendly welcome and delicious food too. Meat is cooked over the griddle in the dining room. It's away from the busy tourist routes but we'll worth the trip. Beautiful.

Lovely place and setting. Great food. Very friendly. Entrecote steak was delicious.

Steaks cooked over a fire in the restaurant which is different,very little English spoken by staff which makes ordering well done steak difficult.No chicken on menu ,only fish and beef

Simpel but good place to have lunch or diner. Friendly staff, food is good. The charm is the remote place; La Baleine is a village of 100 people and the owner is also the major of the town . The winner are the desserts!

Friendly warm welcome, wonderful food.

Lovely relaxed lunch with our mains cooked over the open fire. Outside seating fire the summer. Would highly recommend.
