Absolutely delicious, great value food, worthy of a much posher restaurant. The waitress was friendly and efficient and we chatted to the chef too, who has built this business up. Lovely atmosphere though we were late eating so others had left. There’s an outdoor area, which had heaters and a screen because of the weather. In sunshine, you could have a river view!nWe recommend the chicken/ mushroom/ Parmesan pasta and the pork brochette.nWe hadn’t realised this is a BYO restaurant so don’t make the same mistake!
Update 2: Yes, we went there yesterday. My wife went inside while I waited on our car. No need to lie. I hope you improve your customer experience skills so people stop complaining and not coming to your restaurant. And just FYI - Google tack location so they know we were there.nnDon’t waste your time. They were unnecessarily extremely rude. First, they ignored your presence, not able to they did not care about explaining the issue. We should have read the review and not wasted our time trying to get a table with no reservation. After being ignored they finally said all tables were reserved for today, tomorrow, next week although we clearly saw a few empty table with no “reserved” sign. Then I found the same complaint here. And see yourself what they answered to the other customer 5 days ago. Spend your money somewhere else.
Bring your own wine restaurant. Not many vegetarian options but very accommodating. They were able to make the pesto pasta without chicken. Nice view of the water and cute interior!
Extremely rude if you don’t have a reservation despite the fact that nowhere on their site says about a reservation . if you don’t have a reservation i can’t help you , i have other things to attend - that’s what the guy says . Really poor customer service that’s why you receive that rating . I don’t recomend to anyone .
The food here was absolutely wonderful. We had average expectations for a dinner during an overnight stay on our way to Montreal, and this truly surprised us for the better.nnThe location was cute. It was nothing extravagant, but it felt genuine and slightly elevated without being pretentious. Like if you got invited to a great meal at your friend's cottage who happens to be a professional chef. We ate in the partially covered outdoor patio, with the warmth of the day still lingering in the air. The back patio gives onto the water where the sun was setting just a few minutes before we got there, and a train passed by as we were there. Charming! Service was okay, there seemed to be only one person serving that night. She did well for that circumstance, I hope she has help next time.nnMy partner and I got the cod house salad and the linguine carbonara from the Chef's secret menu to split both 50/50. We hadn't seen it online when we looked before coming, but it was featured on the back of the menu in person, on the bottom. This turned out to be a **great** choice. We though the linguine would be the star it was delicious, but the cod salad stole the show! We both truly enjoyed it and spent half our conversation trying to figure out how we might be able to recreate it or at least come close to it at home. Cooked to perfection, the dressing tasted original, and to top it off portion of both meals were ideal. Plenty but not over the top. We left feeling very happy, and felt that the prices were great value for what we got.nnMerci et, on espère, à la prochaine!
