Poissonnerie Les Escoumins

Some dishes were good but others not so much. Next time I would just purchase the frozen seafood from the small store attached to the restaurant. It was very cheap and you could probably do it better yourself. The poke bowl looked far better than it tasted. The rice in the bowl was inedible. The salmon was quite sweet even without the maple glaze. What really ruined the dishes was the enormous amounts of lemon poppyseed dressing on all the salads. A simple vinaigrette would have completely changed the experience. That being said, the scallops were incredibly tender. The halibut was also tasty. But when the scallops are being sold at the store for $8, the $30+ you pay at the restaurant seems exorbitant.

Well you must stop at this restaurant for some delicious seafood when you're in the area. The service was excellent very fast , hospitable and louise the waitress was always making sure are needs were well taken care of. The price is great and plenty of parking for the busy days too. We are definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of there excellent menu and choices being seafood dishes or steaks and even their seafood pizza . Don't miss out and stop by for a bite, you won't regret it!

The food was simply amazing. The tempura shrimps, parmesan fondue and the lime periwinkle were a perfect entrée. We then took club sandwiches and flétan plates. All of which were delicious! Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Parking: Plenty of parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible in wheelchair, although the parking lot has small rocks, not the easiest to navigate with a wheelchair but still doable.

The food was amazing, the service was fast and friendly! Will definitely come back on next year’s vacation

This is the only poissonnerie that’s 30 minutes from Tadoussac. Very fresh and very friendly service. Everyone was friendly and helpful in here. One of the staffs even made me a samplers cup of clam chowder before I make the decision. Their clam chowder is made with the surf clams! Got a can of salty water snails here and some ready to eat fish for the road! A spot full filed my seafood appetite!

Amazing place to have lunch or dinner with your Family!!!!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!! Traveling trough Quebec I felt like everyone hates us because we speak English , In this place people were very welcoming and friendly, my 2 years old son was running around and pointing and pointing lobsters , Girls who work there came to us and showed him lobster so he got so excited , behind restaurant very beautiful places park , and rocks that you can’t go explore with your kids!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed the seafood chowder, seafood salad and shrimps. We went back the next day for lunch and took some to go including the salads from the attached fish store. Took a star off because the crab was a bit over cooked but no other complaints. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.

Excellent seafood. We had crab and lobster rolls and clubs for lunch. All are very fresh and tasty. Definitely recommended.

It’s a very cozy seafood restaurant where you can have fresh dishes and buy some artisan products. I ordered the salmon tartare and it was great! Excellent customer service and the waiter helped us with the menu in English as most of us don’t speak fluent French.

This place was recommended by the zodiac boat tour receptionist. We tried the coquille st jacques as an appetizer then the seafood poutine and lobster guedille. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the tables felt quite spaced from one another. The only negative point was that in our way out we asked if we could visit the fish store which was in another location and the doorman said there were people waiting outside... so we didn’t get to visit and buy their products. Oh well..
