Poissonnerie Les Escoumins

Good experience overall; we received friendly service. I was a bit disappointed with the value of the dishes. My father and sister shared a seafood pizza, but it was almost all cheese. I tried the crab, it was fresh, but had way too much rice.

We ordered the steak and lobster, and both were cooked to perfection. The lobster was incredibly fresh, tender, and buttery—full of flavor without being overly rich. The steak was juicy, perfectly seared, and seasoned just right.nThe presentation was elegant, and the portion sizes were great. Everything felt well-balanced, from the sides to the sauces. It’s rare to find a place that does both seafood and steak this well.nThe service was friendly and professional—our server checked in just enough without interrupting the flow of our meal.nOverall, an excellent experience. After several trials to get the chance to reserve after being told on the phone a reservation is not needed at first we were so excited to try this place after reading all the good reviews.nWe were pretty disappointed after a 40 minutes drive. We ordered quite a lot to try several things since we love seafood but it didn’t meet our expectations.nBoth pastas taste the same you cannot differentiate between them.nLobster roll was filled with more salad than lobster meat.nChowder had no seafood taste.nFish and chips and the club sandwich were good.nThe rolls were tasty.nService was so friendly and they deserve the 5/5.
