Le Cafe Michi

Everything is great and delicious. The sushi is average, but their set course meals taste exactly like the food I had in Japan! Their curry Katsu is absolutely delicious, and the desserts are light and a great way to end off a meal. Definitely coming here more often

Decor feels very old and the servers and cooks are just chatting away while you wait for the food. Feels like a hangout place for them friends .. The food is subpar and wasn't what I expected from a Japanese owned restaurant. The menu price is also quite quite steep for what they offer. There are better choices nowadays in Toronto so they may need to do a reality check. Won't be back.

Waitresses are all very friendly. Food is very fresh. Portion is small. But don't worry, because you can leave some space for dessert :)

A Japanese patisserie in an unassuming strip mall at Pharmacy and Sheppard. Reservations are a must otherwise you're relegated to the small sushi bar. Known for its desserts, they also serve hot Japanese food like Udon and Teriyaki. The green tea cake is really good. Pricing is on the expensive side but it is high quality Japanese food made and served by Japanese folks. Service can be aloof at times but polite nonetheless. Going at tea time offers the best value.

Quality Japanese food nicely presented. Bit more expensive but dinners include soup (some don't come w soup), salad, coffee / green tea, and dessert. Quality sashimi. Katsu was nicely done. Most desserts including many cakes made on premises - light, less sugar, yummy. Owned and operated by Japanese. Cozy, decor getting touch dated.
