Le Bol d'or / Golden Bowl

This restaurant is pretty popular for takeout. The general Tao was good but the chicken was a bit dry. The eggplant dish was well flavoured and my favourite out of the dishes. The salt and pepper squid was nicely seasoned and super crunchy. A bit too much batter for my liking. Not the best Chinese resto in town but still decent food.

So happy to have found this spot! Genuine and spicy, reminds me of my trips to Asia It’s 1:30 hours away from home but would do the ride to eat their food. Much thanks

This place is best known for gigantic portions but the taste is great too. the service is impeccable, I highly recommend it A must for General Tao and Pad Thaï

We ordered 5 dishes for my husband's birthday dinner. They were all flavorless and tasted the same. We threw it all out. Here is a photo of him looking for the chicken.

The food was really great I ordered Shanghai style fried noodles and home special fried rice It could easily feed 5 people The portion size was huuuge Maintaining quantity and quality of food at such reasonable price is a great deal Please do note that, when I went there they accepted cash onlyno debit or credit. I'm not sure it's due to some technical issues. The service was good and fast No long waiting hours Will go back to try more stuff

Insane quantity of food in a plate for $15ish. We had the Shanghai fried noodles and Home special fried rice. The rice platter would serve 3 people! The food tasted great with a slight charred taste the good kind of wok cooking. I'd sit outside if it's summer, though, cos the indoor dining space gets quite hot

Bol d'or is probably the most known spot for asian cuisine in Brossard and they definitely earned that reputation throughout the years! Their food is great and I've never really tried something I didn't like. They have great service, you can call in advance to pick up and they will have the food ready when you get there. The prices are more than fair for the portions HUGE portions and the food tastes very good. Last time, I ordered the Szechuan beef and General Tao chicken which both came with rice. We also ordered the noodles with vegetables which were delicious but some of them weren't cooked properly. I highly recommend Bol d'or and don't forget to bring cash, they do not accept credit or debit!!

I’ve been going for years and it’s always amazing! Love the General Tao, the peanut butter chicken, and if you like spice and don’t mind a little grease try the Salt and Pepper fried pork chops they are amazing!!

Food is ok! I don't understand why some people are saying it's the best chinese restaurant in town. It's not it's pretty average at best. Portions are generous so that's a plus. However some key plates don't taste as they should example the pad thai. Overall a 2.5 over 5 but I can't give a half star. Decent and does the job when you're hungry and you live close by

Good -cash only- North American Asian restaurent. The prices are fair. Service is painfully slow when we ordered on site so now we call before picking up. The restaurent itself is in a strip mall and never succeeded in evoking our desires to dine in. The service is quite direct, but polite. No fluff here... Their takeout portions are HUGE and judging by the amount of people coming and going, it seems to be their more popular option. We will come back again for the general tao, pad thai and fried calamari ! Edit: 2019. Portions are no longer huge and the taste is not as delicious as before. WON’T go back.
