I like this location the most. The shop is always very well stocked, staff are friendly and knowledgeable
A reasonable sized store. Their chilled options are available in wall fridges, as opposed to a cooler room. This takes shelf space away from having a more comprehensive variety, across the board. I observed customers asking for assistance, specifically about wines. The employee on the floor admitted they had limited knowledge, but would try to help before asking for a specialist. I thought that was fantastic. I wandered about the store for close to 10 minutes, looking contemplative and mildly bewildered, and the closest I came to receiving assistance was one of the employees informing me that there was a truckload of the bottle I was inquiring on so not to worry about supplies running short... and that they knew this because they had to move all the boxes and bottles. Not a happy helper. I love this time of the year - December - as they have all sorts of gift packs and specialty products that are only available within this season! Some fantastic sales can also be found. Why doesn't the LCBO carry a Green Apple Schnapps??? #localguide
I honestly cannot thank Colette and Justin enough for their support. I came in with my two-year-old toddler, who wanted to be in my shopping cart. As a result, I was holding a basket. Colette came to my rescue, held my basket, and became my personal shopper. When I got to the cash register, I realized I had forgotten something. Justin ran to get it for me and gave my toddler some stamps, making my holiday shopping experience so smooth.
An absolute delight to shop there. The selection is fantastic. This is the only place we can buy turkey necks in the city.
Listen, I'm not usually one to write reviews, especially not for something as essential as booze. But this, this store deserves a goddamn medal.nAfter a trip to the makeup store Sephora across the parking lot with my wife and daughters which felt like willingly entering a black hole of glitter and despair, I needed something to erase the memory of the $40 eyebrow pencils and the existential dread that came with the receipt. Enter this strategically located LCBO! And the Tito's vodka within it.nNow, I'm no connoisseur of fine spirits. My usual go-to is whatever's on sale and doesn't taste like paint thinner. But this stuff? This was different. It went down smooth, like a liquid hug for my poor, traumatized brain.nDid it make me forget the horrors of the makeup store? Partially. Did it make me question my life choices? Also partially! But hey, at least I was doing it with a pleasant buzz and a newfound appreciation for the finer things in life like not spending my entire paycheck on mascara.nPros:n* Tastes like victory or at least a temporary escape from reality.n* Makes you forget about your financial woes until the credit card bill arrives.n* Pairs well with sobbing quietly in the shower.nCons:n* May cause temporary amnesia which, let's be honest, is kind of the point.n* Might make you accidentally confess your deepest fears and regrets to the family dog. Or maybe that was a raccoon, can't be sure at this point.nOverall:nIf you've ever experienced the soul-crushing horror of the Sephora store with your wife and daughters, then this LCBO is your new best friend. Just remember to drink responsibly open the bottle outside of the store, after you pay for it.
