This location actually has a solid selection of good quality wines. There’s a few more locations in the area, but they are very small and don’t have the same selection. This one actually is pretty decent, and I was able to score a few options that most locations don’t have.nnStaff are also knowledgeable, which is a huge plus when you are looking for items that you can’t immediately find

Great selection of Portuguese wine and spirits. Staff are easy to approach for help. Super friendly as well.

I am writing this review to specifically rate the supervisor of this location, Peter. I came into lcbo today with a Tequila 1800 that i bought from this location 1 week ago. I buy these bottles frequently because i decorate them for peoples birthdays. Today as i was prepping the bottle to decorate and I noticed something black floating in it. This bottle is completely sealed and untouched by me in that manner, so it is evident that whatever is in it was in there before i bought it. Because i decorate these bottle i do take off 2/3 of the original labels which I was completely transparent about, I showed photos of the bottle before i peeled off the label in my phone I always have before and afters for social media purposes. I already knew the label factor would be an issue, but it doesn't take away from the fact that SOMETHING WAS FLOATING IN THE SEALED BOTTLE OF TEQUILA. I wouldn’t want anything floating in my sealed bottle, no matter how small, so I would not gift that to anyone. I did not have the receipt either, because i had no intention of returning the product until i noticed this. But not only did i show the photo with the original labels, i also offered to show the MULTIPLE transactions in my bank account of all the times i’ve purchased this bottle in the last few weeks. All i wanted was a replacement bottle that had nothing floating in it, they insisted they couldn’t help. Sandy, an employee, told me even “if i had the receipt, theres no label to put it back on the shelf”, my question was “why would you put a drink with something floating in it back on the shelf?”.. PETER who stood there, arms crossed, spectating and chiming in whenever he felt like, decided to open his mouth and lie by saying “the bottle you have is an old product and is not even sold here anymore”. Ummm i beg you pardon, I have been to THIS location twice in the last week for the Tequila 1800 and can point out the exact cupboard that product is locked and still being sold PETER. So you’re implying that i’m a liar and that i did not purchase this product!! I will be calling head office Monday morning with my bank records and whatever else i need because of this unprofessional treatment. I don’t work Monday-Friday to spend my hard earned money on companies that are going to accuse me of doing something otherwise to get their product, but maybe in Peters eyes as a black woman there’s no way I bought that bottle!nnP. S. I’m inserting a couple of photos of the sealed bottle and the black thing floating in it. And also a few photos of the work I do to show why I peel off the labels, and should not have to gift anyone a bottle that has foreign objects in it.

Shoutout to Marc!nnMarc was very friendly and helpful, he made my experience great today! I needed help finding want I wanted and asked him to help me, he greeted me warmly and was happy to help. Despite being sold out of the products I wanted he informed me that they were back ordered and have placed the orders but unfortunately due to logistics there was a delay in shipment. He offered to give me recommendations based on which specific drinks I was looking for, he gave me a couple recommendations so I bought a variety of them to test. Trying them at home they tasted great and I’m really happy with these recommendations. He showed good product knowledge and really made me feel like he wanted me to have a good experience and find a yummy drink like I wanted.nnThank you so much for your great customer service skills! Looking forward to coming back and trying more products he suggests.nnAlso the two cashiers today were also very helpful one woman and one man!
