Fikvi was amazing hands down. Went above and beyond making our first experience here a nice a remember one. The food is absolutely fantastic. I definitely recommend that you come here and try it out.
I don’t usually give reviews but My 5 year old asked me to leave a one star!!!! THE WORST FALAFEL plate ever! See pictures of what is advertised vs what we got! Falafel had a very bad Taste and smell we could not eat it which was smothered in a white “garlic” sauce that had a smell of mayo! Did not get hummus but then why bother we ended up eating the salad and fries - spent $20…going to eat somewhere else now. None of the ingredients are of middle eastern flavours. Lord, it was so bad.
This was an unexpected amazing experience. The food is exactly how you would want it to be, just perfect. Big fan of the Chicken Shawarma and the wrap and the list goes on. Their spice level customization is pretty awesome, you might want to switch it up occasionally especially when every level from medium and above increases the spice in a good amount. And if you love the garlic flavor then their garlic sauce is a must add as it takes it to a whole new level. When it comes to Mediterranean food this place is a must try for everyone.
Lazeez Shawarma is our favorite shawarma place in the east end, Fikvi, and Baljot are always very friendly and helpful. The food though is the star, we get the shawarma platter and it never disappoints, such great flavors, and value its such a huge portion.Food: 5/5

Food was absolutely garbage. Way too much sauce and no taste to anything. The rice was stale and the chicken and beef taste disgusting. Not to mention the salad...I didnt know it was possible to mess up salad until I had it here. It was a mistake ordering from here, I should have trusted my gut and walked out the moment I entered. The place stunk like cleaning supplies, tables were dirty, food was horrible and overall a disappointment. If I could give the review a 0 I would but ill have to stick with a 1
Lazeez Shawarma is a fantastic fast-food chain serving fresh and delicious Mediterranean cuisine at affordable prices. The cashier, Fekri, is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service that goes above and beyond. Highly recommended!
I've never thrown out food before but my Shawarma from here was inedible. I was excited to try this place out as it was highly recommended by a friend who frequents the location in Oakville, however the chicken in my Shawarma was absolutely disgusting. When the staff made my wrap, they took the chicken from a container instead of cutting it from the machine, which at the time I didn't have a problem with as I figured it was somewhat freshly cut. I was completely wrong, after a few bites into the sandwich I realized something wasn't right, so I opened it up and tasted some of the chicken on its own - and it was completely disgusting. It tasted like wet tissue paper, like unseasoned ground chicken that had been steam cooked and left in the fridge for days. I forced myself to have a few more bites as I had paid nearly $18 for my food and drink, then took a picture to send my friend and complain to him for recommending this place. He told me the location in Oakville is amazing so it could just be differences in owners.
proceed with caution if you want to eat here. before I leave a review, I want to say I’ve ordered three times from this place before and didn’t have a problem. with that said, I ordered last week and this time it was completely different. immediately after consuming the food, I experienced symptoms of food poisoning and this lasted for hours. i felt better after vomiting and getting it out of my system, but continued to deal with chills and diarrhea. I wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. however, after a few google searches, you will find that Lazeez Shawarma has had a history with health and safety violations at some of their locations and this includes a TIKTOK video that went viral in December of an employee improperly handling meat and mixing raw chicken with cooked Google Reviews won’t let you paste URL but it’s online. there are several Reddit threads with hundreds of posts detailing different experiences of food poisoning across various Lazeez Shawarma locations in the GTA. some have also highlighted that a few of the franchises have had numerous health inspection visits since 2019. it’s also pathetic how management is writing these reviews and experiences off as either “fake reviews” and trying to dismiss them. there’s hundreds of posts and comments online aside from these Google reviews echoing the same issues of food poisoning and bad experiences after eating from this place. I suggest people do their research and take precaution when eating at this place. clearly something is up and management should have some guts and address these concerns before this place is shutdown. to management, stop being scared and writing these reviews off. grow up and address criticism because people getting sick over food that you take pride in serving is pathetic and sooner than later, you will deal with some harsh consequences.
I vomited twice! Within a couple of hours of eating this food both my partner and I got sick. I threw up and my partner was nauseous the whole evening!! Do not trust their meat! Stay away from this franchise!!! In the past their beef has been like rubber and they often mess up our orders. Never again! You have lost loyal customers today because of your constant disappointment.
