Excellent food and fast service. I got a falafel box, butter chicken, chicken shwarma, and chicken souvlaki. Everything was very good and seemed very fresh. Will definitely be back again soon to try the rest of the menu.
Stumbled upon this place which recently opened in the Danforth village. Great service and amazing value. The owners are very friendly and offer great service. They have a grand opening special that was a great way to try a couple of different menu items at a very affordable rate. Chicken Shawarma was tender and juicy and the house sauces were perfect. Also had the Butter Chicken special - equally tasty and tender - great flavors. I personally would like it a bit spicier but these are definitely crowd pleasures. Will go back again.
Went for dinner on February 23, 2020. Two orders: butter chicken and a gyro, both with rice. Food was very good. I would have thought that a restaurant with so much variety on the menu would be mediocre on most of their dishes - but I was wrong. Both meals were fresh, flavourful and filling. The owners are very nice and wonderful people. We brought our own containers and asked them to serve our food in those. They were very accommodating and supportive of reducing waste in the world. I would definitely eat here again.
My husband, daughter and I visited brown box on the 7th Feb for a late lunch. We had the most amazing experience . The food was great, the portions amazing. Most of all, the owners were so good to us and our little one. Best customer service. Highly recommend this place. Thank You for a great experience. Planning to go back soon.
This restaurant recently opened on the Danforth located at Victoria Park and Danforth intersection. I tried two items on their menu. I find their food is very freshly cooked with fresh crispy vegetables but the Shawarma chicken was not the best I’ve had so I will give it a three star.
We decided to try this place and ordered the shawarma and souvlaki special. We got home and found that the chicken souvlaki was undercooked and was almost raw. Not sure about the shawarma since it is shredded. Raw chicken is absolutely disgusting and is a huge concern since it can kill someone. If you get food from here make sure to check if it is cooked.
I ordered the hero meets gyro. Rice/potato/salad were alright. Good portion too. But the meat tasted nasty, no flavour, no nothing. Bland.

Amazing taste, portion AND price. As a Greek gal who grown up spoiled with delicious food, this is one of the best restaurants I've tried in Toronto so far! Good job, keep it up
