Most excellent Yemeni food. Don't know how they make their chicken and their lamb fall off the bone soft. Chicken was good but the lamb takes the cake for me, grilled, stewed, steamed, they got it all. Lentil soup comes with the platter. Counter order then sit yourself. Free coffee and sweet dates at the door. Glad they play Arabian music instead of just the radio. Thank you for my introduction to Yemeni cuisine!
Place was busy and only one poor lady was taking care of the whole place. Trying to be efficient as possible but what else you expect when she was the only one running around. Food was excellent. I suggest lamb dishes only, chicken was average. Bread pudding was good. Rice with Lamb was sooo good. Will try more dishes soon. Over all it was good experience.
First time coming here and the food a delight, little pricey but the quality is there. Chicken was well seasoned and very tender, lamb was delicious. The lentil soup that came with the combo was also amazing. Will be coming back when I’m in the area.
First time trying food from Jordan. Portions were huge, the bones come right off when you try to move the meat. That how you know it's been cooked good. The lamb soup that came was also amazing. Only down side was they forgot about the desert we ordered, and we had to wait extra long for it. Will definitely return with my friend.Food: 5/5
After a short trip to the Costo nearby ended up here for dinner. I was pleased to see their single serve menu options for individuals termed as Mini Plates and prices are extremely modest. I ordered the Madhbi Chicken Mini Plate which came with extremely tender grilled chicken on a bed of flavoured rice, fried onions along with a bowl of lentil soup on the side, fresh Yogurt Raita and Tomato salsa. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the portion was just right and taste was very satisfying. The servers were also very kind and quick ! Would love to comeback for more.
Very good food. You will find the authentic Yemeni and Arabian cuisine here. It tastes really great. Loved it. I'll definitely recommend it. Apart from this their place is good looking and in prime position. It makes it even better. I have attached a photo of Mandi.
What an experience today, authentic Mandi place. Literally had the best tender juicy lamb after ages. And that spot on Kunafa updating review as I ordered it for home and it was delivered perfectly above all expectations
We had chicken and lamb Mandi. The Lamb mandi was good comparing to the chicken mandi because lamb was very juicy and fresh. When you eat the first bite of lamb you will get to know it’s fresh quality meat. I also was told that the chicken wasn’t having much spice flavour from my friends who tried chicken mandi. For the lamb, since the fresh yummy lamb taste is overpowering I didn’t really mind about the spice/flavour. Can’t stress enough but lamb was delicious. The reason why I gave 4 star because, the mandi rice isn’t up to the expectation. If you are a mandi fan, you would want to have flavourful rice which can even be eaten without the meat. But here the rice wasn’t very flavourful, just average. Lentil soup is free and appreciate the server who first brought us the lentil soup before the main order. The presentation was great, rice topped with chicken and fried onions accompanied with raita and spicy chutney. They even have old Arabic pepsi bottles which will make you feel nostalgic if you are from the Middle East. They also have Vimto drink for 6 dollars. And at the counter they had dates and Arabic coffee kept for the breaking the fasting period Ramadan time which was the deal breaker for me. I have never had such yummy dates in my life tbh. The customer service is really good, we were a group of ten and sat their after food for more than two hours.
A fine authentic Arabian Restaurant. Abundant food, fresh, tasty food. A must visit place in Ontario if you wanna try Arabian food. We travelled from Manitoba on a road trip and stopped for dinner. It was the best dinner ever. Highly recommend this place.
They say they have the juiciest lamb and they are absolutely right! We tried the zurbian lamb and it was amazing the meat was so soft and juicy. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice there was free coffee and dates. We really enjoyed the coffee after lunch. Dessert was ok but the zurbian lamb is a must try!
