Layton Hotel Tavern

Locally sourced food, reasonably priced. I had the Cajun shrimp wrap with sweet potato fries and it was delicious! Ordered takeout and it was ready quickly.

We only stopped in for take out but for not knowing anything this place struck me with character and a desire to return. Was driving through to PA. Hot sandwiches were pretty good too. We'll definitely make the stop to dine-in next time.

Great food, nice atmosphere, wonderful service

Get home and find this, cheese stuck to top of box, extra topper would of stopped that. No sauce. Very bland. 3rd time trying and not impressed. Last timeFood: 1/5

2019 My 1st time visiting... Great atmosphere... Food was Awesome, Bartender Paige is extreamly friendly. Gets busy on Fri nights. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 2022 Still 5 Stars!!

The Layton hotel is over a hundred years old. I've been going here for over 50 of those years. It was a shot and a beer joint. It's changed hands over the years. The current owners have transformed it into a place you'd look forward to bringing your mom to. The space retains it's country charm. Good selection of beers on tap. Well stocked bar. The food is very good. Nestled next to the little flatbrook, dining al fresco is a big draw. Great place to stop on your way to or back from the Poconos. Check it out.

A very refreshing treat to find such a high quality establishment in a small rural town like Layton. The staff is exceptional and this food is superb. They must stop for anyone in the area for lunch or dinner

Friendly service , the food was delicious and I enjoyed a birch beer to wash it all down.They have a nice bar there for those of you who drink alcoholic beverages;All in all a nice atmosphere.
