Great new restaurant in financial district. Smells like lilacs and has the lilac colour palette throughout. It’s a beautiful multi-sensory experience upon entry. The food is middle Eastern Lebanese. The trio dip is a must! Highly recommend for date night or business. Service was excellent with great wine selections as well.Food: 5/5
My family and I had an amazing time there. We went there for my husband’s birthday, and the food and service were the best. The prices were a little high but compared to the quality of food and the service was acceptable. They even brought a small birthday cake for my husband free of charge which was so yummy. The mocktails were beyond my expectations.
Had a really good experience at Laylak and ordered a good selection of items. The octopus pictured and the beef cheek were definitely my favourite dishes of the night and would strongly recommend it. Our server was extremely attentive but not over bearing. While the rest of the wait staff was also extremely helpful.
Overall a decent spot!! One & done for this restaurant! Food was okay, flavour was mild. Good service & ambience was good. Seating arrangement were definitely topi close & felt a bit cramped. Decent 4 but definitely not worth the value.
Newest upscale Lebanese cuisine in Toronto. Made reservations online, simple process. Once we arrived, we really took in the aesthetics of the restaurant. The front has these beautiful purple butterflies, vase with real candles on the staircase, inside the interior is mostly white. The chandelier appears to leaves. The bar is lit up and wine cellar along the wall. Different style of seating available. The menu consisted of various meat dishes. We opted in to try the mix grilled. This was 4 skewers of different types of meat paired with garlic. The chicken was juicy while the kefta kabob was a bit dry. We got the date cake slice. It was a warm paired with ice cream, tasty but we couldn’t finish it. I would like to note that it was definitely not worth $30 for a slice. Overall, the ambiance was lovely, the service was quick, our server was attentive. The prices are steep but considering it’s categorized as upscale, that was expected for most items. Parking: Some street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Barriersstairs leading up the restaurant and inside
The decor is beautiful inside. The wait staff was very friendly, but some of the other staff at the door just stood around without offering any greetings. The food was good, very flavourful. Really enjoyed the mains, and there are a lot of appetizers to choose from.Food: 4/5
I personally really love the food because it’s very subtle. It’s a bit like home made food but perfected to a whole other level, all ingredients just work together purposefully. Remember to save some room for dessert!Food: 5/5
Came here for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere and interior is super cute and upscale. A very beautiful place to sit and dine. Love how they have a good selection of mocktails, and all the meat is halal. The halloumi tasted amazing, and the overall food itself was good. Would definitely come here again. Also the service was amazing, everyone working is super sweet!
Great experience. Decor and Ambiance is solid. Dress well and don't show up in a ball cap and air force none's. NG was an awesome server. Superb guide through the menu. Food is unreal, bring an appetite and be the cost is worth it for the leftovers. Wine selection was OK but it paired well with all the food so it's a 5-star for me. Overall, well done. Vegetarian options: They have them Dietary restrictions: They have it Kid-friendliness: dont bring them
Laylak offers Lebanese cuisine in a gorgeous, romantic environment. The decor is absolutely stunning, with the perfect lighting and ambience. The tables are spaced pretty close to each other, but the owner mentioned they’re in the process of expanding. My server, Robert, has a great eye for detail and made the dining experience all that much better. The manager, Talal, came by our table to ensure we were being accommodated well and I appreciated that so much considering how busy it was. The food was amazing! I would recommend the beef cheek, either of the Kebobs, cheese rolls, and the date cake. I’m going to be a regular here, and urge everyone to try this out if you’re in the city. PS: everything on the menu is halal!
