Reviews
Over time, I’ve noticed that some older reviews from 2023 and 2024 that used to appear on Laval Moto’s Google listing are no longer visible. Many of those reviews raised concerns about service interactions, financing confusion, or lack of follow-up. These issues closely mirror my own experience.nnIn my case, the vehicle’s rear tire was dangerously worn at the time of purchase, making braking performance questionable. As a new rider, I initially mistook this for ABS issues. The bike has been slightly accidented by the previous owner mentioned in the CARFAX , the shifter has been damaged and fixed with a DIY white plastic piece, as a certified motorbike. It should have been identified and replaced with OEM new shifter for it to be safe to be ridden. The engine also began consuming oil at a rate that felt excessive. I suspect this may be linked to the motorcycle being unused for over two years, according to the CARFAX, before coming into my possession. That information, while visible on the report, was never explained to me or discussed during the sale.nnWhen it came to the financing, I was quoted a 5000 dollar motorcycle price, and I initially agreed to add 2000 dollars in accessories. I later emailed to cancel the extra gear before finalizing the sale. The dealership finance manager verbally acknowledged receiving my email and told me it was taken care of. However, at signing, the financing still showed a 7000 dollar plus balance. When I questioned it, I was told not to worry and that it was “just the financing” and not the price of the bike. I later learned my 500 dollar deposit had not been factored in. Only after I insisted did the dealership correct the mistake by contacting the financing provider. The experience left me confused and pressured, especially when I realized I had been mislead to sign on for something I had not agreed to and almost made it permanent if I didn't caught it the same hournnIn terms of service, my visit after the purchase raised other concerns. The mechanic told me I could book a follow-up for Monday, only to later say he would not be available for another two weeks. When I voiced my concerns, I was informed by the dealership owner that I was no longer welcome there. While I admit I was visibly frustrated during that interaction, I used no profanity or insults. I had my helmet and earplugs on, which may have made me seem louder than intended, but I remained focused on resolving the issue respectfully.nnThe situation was also made more frustrating when I was told I needed to go through a certified Suzuki dealership for further inspection. This is not a legal requirement, and such a restriction could prevent me from getting an independent mechanic who would be willing to testify if needed. It felt like another attempt to limit options and delay resolution, especially since that discussion took place close to the three-month mark after purchase, which is a key deadline under the Consumer Protection Act.nnLastly, it is hard not to notice that many reviews mentioning the service manager have since disappeared. While more recent reviews are mostly positive, it is unclear whether this reflects a genuine improvement or simply how platforms like Google display content. I encourage anyone considering this dealership to look beyond the latest feedback and check multiple sources to get the full picture.nnI hope this review helps others make informed decisions. I also hope that the dealership reflects on how it handles communication, financing clarity, and post-sale support, especially with customers who may be unfamiliar with the process.
I highly recommend this place! Hands down the best service!! I picked up a 2024 v Strom 800 in April and I must say the whole team at Laval moto have been a dream to deal with. From the guys in sales to parts and finally financing every interaction was positive and helpful. Extra thanks to Ali, Claude and Richard and thanks to the rest of the team for making this a seamless and very enjoyable experience.nnNo sales pressurenThey listen to what you wantnMake informed suggestions based on your preferencesnNo upsell
I bought my Vespa from Laval Moto, and the service was the reason I chose them from the start. From the very first phone call to the delivery, everything was genuine and professional. I was helped by Vito and the owner, Ali, who was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. He even delivered the scooter himself! They truly go above and beyond to provide the best service, and I can confidently say they are 100% honest and fair. Even after the delivery, they made it clear I can reach out anytime if I need help with anything. : When you’re making a big purchase, it’s so important to be able to trust the people you’re buying from, and I don’t regret my decision one bit. I highly recommend them for your next bike purchase! :
Thanks to Vito, introduced me every bike that I interested with patience! Bought my brand new Kawasaki Z900RS with a fair price. and big thanks to Ali delivered in front of house! FIVE STAR experience with the professional team!
I bought my first motorcycle from here in September 2024 a Kawasaki EL 500 and had a fantastic experience. Richard was very nice and professional. He didn’t pressure me at all and gave me all the time I needed to think about my decision without trying to push for a quick sale. The financial director,Claude Landry, took the time to explain to me everything that was needed to purchase the bike. The service was excellent, and the payment options were flexible, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this place! The staff is professional, friendly, and chill.nnThanks a bunch!
