Wow, great meal and beer pairing tonight, The Steamed sweet snow crab and Mussels in a white wine Chipotle sauce was outstanding, delicate, flavors touched the pallet perfectly and a Wandering Camel IPA from Barkervile brewing tied everything together deliciously. Who'd have thought so far from the sea and yet so fresh tasting. Thank you very much
My friend and I grabbed dinner here the other night, awesome friendly service and we really enjoyed our dinners..and the dessert was amazing! We both got the elk sliders & the aero cheesecake in a jar. We'll definitely be coming back!
This place is a 5+ in our books. Went in expecting the usual pub fare, but the specials were what we chose AND were deliciously wonderful. I had the tuna tacos which were super flavorful, nice hit of heat, crispy tacos were homemade, loads of veg and tuna was rare. Yum. My parther had the seafood bowl overflowing with sweet crab and mussels in a cream sauce. Super fresh and yum, too. Our server was engaging, professional knowledgeable about the menu when asked questions. She recommended the the kitkat torte and as non-dessert people this was out of this world and worth every calorie. William's Lake you have a gem here and we are jealous.
We had a reservation of 6, for my Granddaughter's 16th Birthday. The table was set & located in a perfect spot. Lots of elbow room The atmosphere was great. Our appies & meals were delicious. The quality & quantity of all of our food was fabulous. My daughter dropped off the birthday cake earlier that day. Our waitress brought the cake out at the right moment after our meals & sang " Happy Birthday" with us. The service was superb. We had a great time. Definitely recommend it for all occasions.
Had the fish tacos, so filling! Good stuff will be back.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! We made a reservation, asking for a cozy table in the upper area of the restaurant and were told they would make it nice for us. When we arrived, there seemed to be some confusion. The “lovely” gal behind the bar shouted, they’re probably down there… beside a long table of guys at their Christmas party without making contact or showing any sing of graciousness that we were going to spend money in the restroom where she is employed. my partner said we asked for a table up top, is that possible? We were then told that only parties of 5 or more could were sat there even though, every other table up there were tables of two earring their meals. The sweet gal who was trying to help, Not the snippy blond-ish behind the bartalked to the owner who was sitting up top and after a couple glances and a bit of time agreed to move. We said to the gal at the front, we might have preferred a booth, as they are cozy and that’s why we made a reservation,very kindly kindly I might add when the “lovely” gal behind the bar who was not at all involved in our conversation yelled across the restaurant “we don’t reserve booths”. At that point we felt like spending our money and enjoying a dinner out might be better enjoyed somewhere where we felt welcomed. I’ve travelled all over the world and being met at the door as an inconvenience, even a burden is not meant for the hospitality industry…especially when an 18% tip for service is expected. didn’t try the food because we couldn’t be bothered, and I hope the young gal working reception realize she works in a toxic environment and gets out!
Great place to stop! We had more than enough food for a reasonable price! Friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. I'll stop 8 again!
Fabulous right from when we walked in. Our sever was wonderful and Dave , the duck and the fish Tacos are beyond fabulous with presentation and flavour. Well worth coming here for a meal. Simply wonderful all around
Excellent service and great atmosphere, cocktails are great and coffee too. I had the wonderful elk sliders with a house salad , my friend had chicken cashew stir-fry
I have had the bestest NACHOS ever in last 4 years and they have more than enough serving for their prices.Food: 5/5
