We have been dealing with Laser Medical for 2 years now. Initially a little hesitant straying from Manufacturer warranty but are happy we did. The distance from Laser Medical to my clinic is a little bit of a nuisance but Stephan really tries to work with me to accommodate our needs. He makes himself available personally for my questions and is always very kind, knowledgeable and willing to provide any information requested about my own system or others. His rates, from what I know are reasonable - lets face it, it is costly to warranty lasers! Although turn around time is a little longer than the manufacturer, the flexibility in warranties is worth it. Thank you Stephan and team at Laser Medical! We will see you in January!!!!

Usually take my laser machines here, but after a questionable experience elsewhere, I'll be sure to ALWAYS bring my machines here. Most recently received friendly and trustworthy service at Laser Medical Canada. Great service.

Did Not Fix Palomar 300 Y Hand Piece Correctly, then denies it. We've had our 3 Palomar Machines for 7 years, and have used Red, Green and Yellow HPs. We've had each HP refurbished and reflashed every 1 to 1.5 years of use. We usually use a company in Florida or New York, and we've never had an issue before. We send the HP out, and in 1-2 weeks we get it back repaired and ready to use. As other techs would know, once the HP loses power, you move up to the highest settings, and once that doesn't work, then it is time to send it in for service. Because of the exchange rate, and posting and duties and customs, I figured I would give a Canadian company a shot and save a little bit of money. I contacted Laser Medical Canada, and got a fairly decent price of $1800 to service the HP. I sent over 3 HPs, 2 Yellow and 1 Red. I was contacted by Laser Medical Canada and advised that because there was a hairline crack in two of the HP, that they wanted to replace the whole shell and refurbish the units, so the cost went up to $3500. I asked them not to make any cosmetic or aesthetic adjustments, as they are not necessary. He refused. Fine. I asked him then to fix just the one Yellow HP, as we cancelled all treatments for a week so that we can get the HPs serviced. He said it would take 3 days. 6 days later, I did not hear anything from Laser Medical. I had to call their 1-800 number which seems to go to a call center. The call center forwards the message to the business. Fine. 2 days later they ship the unit. We had to cancel appointments for another week because of this. Fine. We receive the HP that they “fixed”. Our tech puts it to work, and as any laser technician knows, when you receive a refurbished and re-flashed HP, you must lower the joules because “IT SHOULD” be more powerful because it’s a brand new bulb. Our tech, however, used the same settings as the client had 6 weeks prior. That did not make sense. We continued the treatment and were going to wait for the results in 4 weeks. Our tech then does a photofacial on a client that has a high pain tolerance, however, she lowered the joules, as per our policy on receiving a new or refurb HP. Our tech had to go to the highest setting, and the client still only barely felt anything. This means that there is literally no power coming from the bulb. The client barely felt a snap at the highest settings. I email Stephan Daigle, owner or partner of Laser Medical. He makes me take a pic of the connectors of the palomar unit. I do, and send back to him. He says that the connectors are the problem. They should be gold plated for maximum power, and that is why the HP is not working. REALLY!? SERIOUSLY?! This owner, partner, tech, or whatever, obviously thinks the public is stupid for not knowing as much as he does about lasers. We used that HP on three different machines, and all had no power coming to the HP. We have never had an issue with this HP, except when we sent it out for service to Laser Medical. We’ve had this HP from new, and had it refurbished with a new bulb 4 times, and never had an issue, until we sent it to Stephan Daigle of Laser Medical. Then he insults our intelligence by trying to blame the connectors on 3 different palmoar units??! Needless to say I need to buy a new yellow HP. I made Stephan an offer – since he is so convinced that the HP is working perfectly, and all of our 3 palomar units is the problem, then I proposed the following: I would purchase a new HP from another retailer, and show him the receipt. I would then send him the Yellow HP he “fixed”. Once received, he would refund my money in full. He could then sell the HP he says is working perfectly, and make a profit, which he can keep. His response to me: “You HP is still under warranty…send it back and I’ll fix it”. He has our money, and we have a unit that doesn’t work. We will not be giving Stephan Daigle another chance, as the trust has been lost and cannot be regained. I wrote more, but character limit prevents me from posting.
