Nice quiet location in Kanata close to the 417 highway eagleson area. Great food. Love the all you can eat mussels on Mondays. The staff is amazing, friendly, and funny!

Good place for fresh seafood at a good price. was employed for 2 weeks. nothing against the owners or staff. they treated me well. juat wasn't my calling to work there

Went to lapointe tonight with my spouse and ordered the date night special. Upon ordering my main I specifically asked if there were onions in the dish. The server advised there was not but would let the kitchen know of my request. Immediately when the dish came out there were onions. I let the server know and she went to the back and came out a few minutes later and said that the kitchen said there wasn’t. It obviously was as I had piled them up on the side of my plate. Anyway, I was left with my plate to eat the meal I ordered despite this being made wrong. We took the dessert to go and when the bill came, not only were we not once acknowledged of this error by anyone, we were overcharged massively in our bill. Completely displeased with the entire evening we paid (the extra $30 that was overcharged) and left. Now I typically don’t complain about restaurants but although the server was pleasant enough, I’m extremely bothered by the lack of care from the kitchen. Never should I have to sit and eat a meal which was made wrong and then pay an extra $30 for someone else’s mistake. There was no ownership in the errors and frankly, the food was not that good.

Best seafood I can find anywhere. They also have a retail counter where you can buy all the fish off the menu fresh. Sushi grade salmon, huge scallops, halibut, and nice freshwater fish like pickerel and rainbow trout. An absolute must that is tucked away out of sight
