The food here is super delicious. Excellent quality with good sized portions. At least once a week we order from Lan on our lunch break. With limited time to spare we find it super convenient to be able to order and pay online and then pick up the food when it is ready. The order is always ready on time, made fresh, and served in excellent leak-proof, recyclable, take-out containers. The front end staff are also exceptional. No matter how busy they are they are always super polite, working with a smile and they are very efficient. I would highly recommend Lan Express to anyone that enjoys Vietnamese food.
Everything was delicious, especially sweet and sour soup with pineapples and shrimp! Thank you so much! The team is great! We will be back for sure!
Yum, another lunch at Lan's! The Express does a lot of take-out, but we were happy to eat in, and the staff were very welcoming. I had my go-to winter lunch, hot and sour soup with prawns, and my friend had her usual lunch combo. Both of us enjoyed our meals, they were tasty and filling. And we happily shared a mango bubble tea with both tapioca and coconut jelly beads, that's my favorite bubble tea so far.
Had a vegan tofu vermicelli bowl that was pretty amazing. Staff were so helpful and the food was really good. The portions are great and they gave us everything we needed. Highly recommend them Vegetarian options: Vegan tofu bowl was amazing and they made sure to give me vegan hoisin sauce
Great food with Great service. Inexpensive, filling, healthy!! I order the tofu noodle all the time it's chronic as hell and I feel revitalized after eating it! Ten out of ten would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a healthy, fresh meal. A favorite for game nights.

Nice express joint for vietnamese food. I am from the lower mainland where there is a lot of vietnamese restaurants and Lan's express can compete. Not the best Pho that I've had but it's up there. Their lemongrass chicken and spring rolls are well seasoned and their presentation is good. Their banh mi is overpriced and average but if your craving banh mi it will fill the void. Overall I would recommend this joint if your in the mood for Vietnamese in parksville.
A little off the main strip but well worth the small detour. The food is extremely fresh with top quality ingredients. Coming from Vancouver with its plentiful Vietnamese restaurant, this one rates right at the top. A very cool little feature is their live wood edge tables something you wouldn't expect.

A great place to grab a quick bite or dine in. Loved the customized decor and the little details in the restaurant. From the square pho bowls to the insulated cup for hot Vietnamese coffee, you won't be disappointed when enjoying traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommended and will definitely go back!
