My husband and I love this restaurant. It’s our favourite in Parksville. Lots of vegan options and it’s always delicious. Amazing service to top it off and we always have leftovers because the portions are a good size!

Little Gem of Asian cuisine out it the middle of outer Mongolia Vancouver Island was a very pleasant surprise. Owner is an amazing chap who has travelled the world and loads of tips to share. He's a foodie and not shy on suggesting great places to eat on VI.
Awesome food, so glad you can eat in again. Owners are super nice! Deepfried prawns come with garlic butter, sooo good! Hot and Sour soup is also great. My brother is a vegan and likes the vegetarian options. Curries are good, too many good items to list :

We ordered takeout as we were packing to go home and didn't want to cook. Our last experience with Mekong was disappointing but the food this time was so good! I ordered X8 chow mein with chicken - it had lots of chicken in a good size portion and very tasty. Hubby had X11 Prawn Imperial and said it was fresh and tasty, no complaints at all. It was easy to order and food was ready right on time.
Top quality Vietnamese cusine in a relaxed atmosphere. Ample free parking. A tad pricey but worth every penny.
