Went there for the deMarco concert (which lasted 45-60 minutes). Had to wait outside in the cold for them to open the doors. Drinks are offered in tiny plastic cups. They don't take credit or debit also don't have enough change for a 20 if y you widthdraw money from their atm. They ran out of alcohol as well. Heatblower didnt work. No more paper towel,. No more hot water by the end of the night.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. It was absolutely horrendous. A group of friends and I went there on New Years Eve for their supposed "VIP" package that was all inclusive but it absolutely sucked. The ticket we paid for was supposed to be unlimited drinks with 10 bars open but they basically scammed everyone who bought a ticket. We got there around a 10:00 PM and had to wait in line in the freezing cold for about an hour and a half with absolutely no direction from staff of the club. When we finally got into the club the very few staff members were extremely rude, condescending and unhelpful. The bartenders wouldn't serve anyone unless someone flashed them money, which is absolutely absurd considering that the main draw of the place was the open bar. I don't know if the bartenders were just plain greedy, or underpaid, but they provided the worst service that I have ever experienced. I had to wait over 30 minutes to finally place my order (only after flashing a $5 bill to the bartender) and the drinks served to me were small and watered down. One of my friends even told me he heard one customer ask for a cup of water, but the bartender demanded $5 dollars for it and after the customer refused to pay, the bartender told her to go to the bathroom to fill it up. Every staff member was extremely rude and treated the customers like they were beneath them. My friends and I eventually got fed up and left at 1:00, disgusted that we had essentially paid $50 dollars to wait in line for 3 hours. I would have loved to share these complaints with a manager or owner, but unsurprisingly, nobody was available to speak with as we were leaving the club. The event website clearly and explicitly stated that the ticket would entail unlimited drinks and tips for staff, they blatantly misinformed their customers and committed borderline fraud. Montreal will become a better place when La Mouche goes out of business so that nobody has to have such a miserable experience as every paying customer on New Year's Eve this year.

The New Years Eve "Escapade" event at La Mouche was so unbelievably horrible that it defies words, a scam so utterly crooked that it would make Bernie Madoff proud. Four other friends and I purchased the CAD$49.99 VIP ticket, which was supposed to include access to the club's main dance floor from 10 pm-3 am as well as unlimited access to a variety of drinks (including tips for the 20 bartenders). We arrived shortly before 10 to find hundreds of people already lined up in front of two different doors, with staff letting people in at a glacial pace. It eventually turned out that most of the people in our line, including us, were supposed to be in the OTHER line, a fact that no one bothered to tell us until around 30-45 min into the wait. Thus, we spent around a total of 1.5 hrs standing in the freezing cold (completely sober, I might add). When we finally got inside, we were met by complete chaos. Throngs of people were pushing past one another to check their coats, which cost at least $3. Apparently many of them (not unreasonably) thought that this fee was included in the $50. A small annoyance, to be sure, but because of it we only entered the dance floor with less than 10 min to the New Year. At long last, we told ourselves, the wait was over! Now was the time for partying and fun...but it was not to be. Inside the bars were a mob scene, with only around 3-4 bars and half a dozen bartenders. Worst of all, the bartenders completely ignored anyone who didn't flash money. Even bottled water couldn't be had without a two dollar tip...one girl who refused to pay was handed a plastic cup and told to go fill it up in a bathroom. Eventually I whipped out a $5 and somehow procured a round of shots for us after a 20 min wait. I'm not sure if they weren't being paid or were just plain greedy, but in any event we likely would have received better service at a prison mess hall. By 1 am we were so thoroughly let down and exhausted by the awfulness that we simply left and went back to our hotel. I say without a hint of exaggeration that this place ruined our New Years Eve, although fortunately our other nights in Montreal were a blast. I can't speak to how La Mouche is on regular nights, although I would advise any visitors to avoid this place at all costs. I intend to file a complaint with whatever Canadian government agency I can get to listen, because in my mind La Mouche and Keenest Productions perpetuated borderline fraud against 2000 people.

I didn't see people when I came there last week... Music sucked! I don't want to be racist but all I can't see were Arabs and Black... and we were the only Asians. That's it! I will never ever go back there again!
