Lakeview Burger & Diner

Used to love this place. Hardly go there anymore. And they have an answer for every complaint. "Oh the customers prefer cans". Sure. Like hell they do. "Oh the customers prefer our new buns". Sure. That are about 30% smaller and make the burger drip everywhere. And sometimes the wait is just enough to make you go home and cook your own dinner. Really. This place used to be legendary. Then they expanded and it went to hell. Downgraded from 5 stars to 2 stars.

THEY’RE ONLY OPEN UNTIL 9. They are no longer open until 10 on Friday and Saturday. Very disappointed that the hours are listed incorrectly. I used to love this place. They recently raised their prices. The coupon they email to use online doesn’t work and in store they won’t do anything about it. I get poutine and the styrofoam container cracks and leaks hot gravy and burns your skin— this has happened twice now, maybe 3 times.

My husband and I usually love this place, but tonight was not a good night. Staff is still nice and friendly, but the food was not nearly as good as usual. The fries and my chicken sandwich tasted burned, like the fryer oil needed to be changed. And they unfortunately got rid of the Coke machine that had all the options of what to drink and went back to cans. Not sure how long it will be before we return, but it may be a while.

Just ordered online from Lakeview Burger in Oshawa for the first time. Delivery chap was very nice, and the poutine was very good, the burger was delicious, and the milkshake was super. I will definitely stop in to eat sometime and I will be ordering for delivery again. Thanks Lakeview Burger.

The food is good, but who ever assembles the burgers never pays attention to what people actually want on it. My order kept getting messed up all the time I stopped going.
