General Pub and Grill

Our first time at the General Pub and Grill. Service started a bit slow and we had to seat ourselves... But when they got to us the service staff was fairly attentive. Food was pretty much on par for a pub... Nothing extraordinary but good food at a good price. We had the wing special and a burger that we shared. A beer and a pop with the food came to just over $30 and with tip we were out of there for under $40. That's a good place for Cheap Eats. We will most likely return.

Hidden Gem! Some fiends and I went there for dinner before a Paint Nite (super fun by the way) and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Portions and quality of food was excellent, great variety on the menu - Everyone LOVED their meals and we all had leftovers. Also wanted to mention that our server Bobby was fantastic! We will go back!!!

We had the best meal here. The prices were fantastic, the service was great and the food exceeded our expectations. We were there from out of town and went back the next night! I hope Oshawa knows what a great little gem this place is. Try the curry. You won't regret it! The kids meals were also great. Kitchen was out of ice cream and the brought deep fried cheesecake out for them instead.

Came in last night with a group of 7 for a improptu birthday celebration and we all raved about the excellent service and food. Our server could not have been better and he went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Portions and prices were also excellent.

This place does have wifi and isn't awful but limited vegetarian options. I wasn't necessary disappointed but wasn't overwhelmed by it either. I would give other places a try first unless desperate for wifi. Most places use mac filtering and that doesn't seem to work with my computer. It's typical bar atmosphere.
