Story

Welcome to the Lakeside. First converted to a restaurant and amusement park in 1936, the Lakeside has a long tradition of being a favorite destination on beautiful Keuka Lake. We continue that tradition by raising the bar with impressive food, great service, and fun happenings.
We are Located directly on Keuka Lake, in the middle of the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. We offer a casual atmosphere for the entire family. We have air-conditioned seating available indoors and four decks for outdoor seating including a rooftop patio and Dockside Bar & Grill. We have ample dock space for you to arrive by boat as well.
We are a great location for weddings, special events, and celebrations. We also offer full line catering to meet your every need.

Yet another perfect spot for gorgeous views while dining on the lake! We stopped in for drinks by the water while visiting with family. We had a few small bites...sandwich and chicken strips. Both were great! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return for an entire meal and more of those gorgeous views!

Our party of six arrived at 8:15 and we were told it'd be a 20 minute wait. At 9:00 we still hadn't been seated so my mother-in-law went up to ask how much longer and they said they couldn't seat us because they had no clean silverware. We had two small children with us and the temperature had now dropped to 60 degrees. My mother in law came back to us and explained the situation so we all asked if we could at least be seated inside because the kids were freezing. A very tall, blond waitress was up at the hostess stand at this point and was so incredibly rude to my mother in law barking things like, "we are a restaurant, it's Friday night, you'll have to wait. It'll be a while. We can seat you but no one will pay attention to you" The poor teenage hostesses stood there horrified that an employee would even think of talking to a customer in that manner. My mother in law was calmly asking if we could just sit inside until a waitress/waiter could attend to us. I cannot believe how rude she was. The sad thing is, we frequent this restaurant at least a dozen times a summer with all of our friends and family and I've never been so embarrassed and let down....ever, by the way an employee has treated a member of our party. Unfortunately this experience will now leave a horrible impression on us and will from now on lead me to turn any and all recommendations away from the Lakeside Restaurant.

The food was premium quality! The portions were hefty! The service was quick and attentive! The location was top notch! Live music was great! What's not to love? Family friendly atmosphere, coupled with gorgeous views of Keuka Lake while eating a mouth watering meal! OUTSTANDING!

We were out for a Sunday drive and stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch. Service was fantastic. They seated us in one outdoor area. The only table for two that was open was one without an umbrella, so the hostess moved an umbrella from another table over to our table without us even having to ask. About fifteen minutes later, she came back and said, "You are right in the sun. I just had a table for two open up in a shadier spot. Want to move?" I was very impressed by that. Our waitress was fantastic, as well. Friendly, attentive, fast. We ordered Garlic Parm wings and a basic burger. Wings were super garlicky, but good. Burger was juicy and tasty. Good food, great view, fantastic service. We will absolutely be back.

Need a better cook cardboard food and sent it back. Then we order 2 burgers medium and came out well done. Service was great food suck.
