Lakeside Resort & Conference Center

My son got married here in September so we experienced both their ballroom facilities, pool and rooms. We were pleased with the service and how accommodating the staff was to us. Brooklyn was exceptional in her attentiveness to our requests. The rooms were clean. The pool was a ton of fun. The facility itself is bit old but it appears they are making changes to update. Overall a very positive experience. I would give the staff 5 stars and the facility 3, hence the average of four on my review.

This review is the hardest review that I have ever done. The outside of the hotel looks pretty, but if people want to be technical then it needs some care. (Trash in parking lot. Many lights out.) Now, I checked into the hotel at 3:00, but went to visit family instead of going to the room. Arrived back at the hotel at 7:30p.m., went into our room. It looked pretty clean, but didn't smell clean. Went over to the window to shut the blinds and I was greeted by tons of SPIDERS!!! I immediately went to the front desk and they moved us to a new room. Mind you this is at almost midnight now. Guess what?? MORE SPIDERS!!! Moved us again- only 1 SPIDER, but so many mosquitoes. The pool area looks like so much fun, however you have to get passed the SPIDERS in there as well. Not only on the walls, the slides, but actually in the pools too!! The staff did try making it a little better, but could have done way more.

The resort was great. Me and my family liked the water park. We had a lakeside room and it was awesome. Only downside was the spiders, but what do you expect from being near the water and near the woods. Overall loved it.

This place is great. We had booked a lakeside view and it was beautiful. Staff is awesome and worth the ride up here. The waterpark is not that big, but you will have a fun time. The only down side of the trip is the spiders. But what do you expect it near the water.

We stayed over night in a family suite. The room was wonderful the staff was extremely pleasant. The dining was wonderful and the food is delicious. Its very family orientated. Vinny was bartending our service was outstanding he went over and above our expectations!!! I extremely recommend going!
