Lakeside Downtown is the downtown campus of Lakeside Church. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m.

Story

Imagine a great life. Go on, just try it. What we find amazing about people is, the awesome life we all imagine is pretty similar - a life with purpose, where relationships are great and we focus more on others than ourselves. A life where we're more than just happy - where even in the hardest moments, we seem to have some kind of joy, peace.

We believe this is the life of Jesus Christ and we'd love the opportunity to show you why we believe that. At Lakeside we are a community of over 2,500 in the Greater Guelph area. Some of us have been following Jesus for a long time. Others are just testing the waters. Some of us have been addicts, homeless or worse. Others are starting families. We are old, young and from lots of different backgrounds. Hey, we think you'd fit right in!

"The Downtown School is an independent, co-educational high school located near Seattle Center.Affiliated with Lakeside School, a national leader in independent school education, the curriculum of The Downtown School will combine some of the best aspects of Lakeside School's high-quality academic program with special programs and features that are unique to the new school.Students of The Downtown School will be members of a tight-knit community: With full enrollment, the school will serve 160 students in grades 9-12. Students will work closely with a core group of teachers with outstanding experience and credentials and a passion for educating young people."
