We brought visiting friends over to eat at this place and they were astonished and pleased with the serving portions. The view was wonderful and the interior design and ambiance were cozy, classy, and tasteful. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a pleasant time. The washrooms were very clean and well maintained. I just thought I should put it out there. I have a thing where I get dismayed when an establishment’s washroom isn’t as well maintained as the lounge or dining areas. Kudos to the staff and management for keeping the state of cleanliness standard in all areas of the establishment. We will be back with more friends and family for sure.
We were looking for somewhere nice for my moms 60ths birthday and stumbled upon Lakeside Chophouse. We got a table outside facing the mountains and it was spectacular, a memory she will remember and love forever. The service was amazing, 3 of their staff came out singing Happy Birthday for us with a candle in the dessert we ordered. Now the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The burger was dry, the crab cakes weren't crispy or tasty, the only thing was good was their seafood pasta dish. I think next time I'd try one of the other restaurants facing the lake/mountains but the rest of the experience makes me want to give it 4 stars.
We dined here in trepidation the day after we'd dined at its sister restaurant in the same hotel and had a terrible meal. But it was a complete 180°! Our server, Brad, was engaged, hilarious, prompt and attentive. Our cocktails were well-made and interesting, the wine and beer lists were adequate and the view was lovely. Brad recommended the crab cakes and they were crisp and flavourful. We had the goat cheese flatbread, which was generously topped and delicious. We had the Brussels sprouts, and although they were very undercooked, they were still very tasty. But the HANDS DOWN highlight was the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Perfectly cooked, perfectly sauced, squishy brioche bun...we whimpered through the whole thing and came back the next day to have it again. This restaurant was a huge hit with us. We dined there again the next day and sat outside on the patio which was lovely. Our server that day did not 'wow' us the way that Brad had, but she was adequate and the food was just as amazing. We had the chicken burger again and the Kung Pao Bowl. Nice job, guys!
Incredible experience. We brought a large group and everything turned out great. Super friendly staff, the food was better than I anticipated, and the ambiance and view was impossible to beat. We had the short rib and it had literally fallen off the bone before it got to our table. Shout out to Brad our server who rocked the night. We will definitely be back. 5+ star experience
I have been here 3 times so far this summer and each meal has been fantastic! Today we tried the calamari it was exceptional. Love sitting on the beautiful patio. All the staff have been wonderful and today we were especially impressed with our server Elizabeth who was cheerful, helpful and a pleasure to speak with! 5/5
Amazing short ribs! Fall off the bone. The service was incredible! Thank you Liz and Brad for your cheerful and professional service! We had a group of 45 people and everything was perfect! We will be back again!!
We brought a group of 7 with no reservation and they seated us so nicely! They did say that management wouldn't let them stick any tables together, which we thought was weird... You should let your employees make customer-facing decisions. They're great, hospitable people and know what they're doing. I'm sure they're able to put the tables back to where they were before. The food was great though. My steak was slightly aged. Pasta and flatbreads and salads were all delicious!
What an amazing experience! We were in Waterton for 4 days but had to make 3 or 4 stops at the Lakeside Chophouse! Every meal we had here was fantastic and the staff were phenomenal!! Special shout out to Daniel and Brad for their exceptional service! Can’t wait to come back here again soon and will definitely be sending people this way!
Wow the vegetarian dish of grilled cauliflower with the mushroom was just heavenly and the best dish i have had. This place is amazing with great chef and service. It accommodate a group of 30 people with seamelss service and amazing food.
What a great place! The view was mind blowing. Not to mention our server Sebastian went beyond and above. He was super welcoming. The foods were so good. We’d definitely visit again. Much appreciated the service
