Excellent service, really good food. You've gotta eat here! I had the cowboy burger substituted with 2 bison patties and sweet potato fries.
Waterton's best kept secret! The place is huge and as a result, there is next to no waiting. Some places on the main drag can have a bit of a wait, but not Vimy's. Staff was incredibly friendly. Food was amazing I had a tofu stir fry, partner had a bison burger. Both were great. Incredibly fresh. The restaurant also had AC and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating - which was awesome after a day of hiking in sun. Music was not too loud and speaker system was really well set up. After a day of hiking, we were starving and able to enjoy a nice quiet dinner but not too fancy as we were in our hiking gear while viewing the sun setting over the mountains. It was one of those places where you could tell the management cared about the staff, and all of the other small details. They got everything right! The only "issue" is that despite the size, this place is a bit hard to find, and we didn't even know it was there - we sort of stumbled upon it one day :- One suggestion for the management would be to set up some kind of sign on Windflower Ave, which seems to be the road that most people take t get into the main drag of Waterton. Vegetarian options: Tofu stir fry was amazing. It's hard to get a chef that can cook tofu so that it's not too tough, but not too soft - thanks! Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room on ground floor, no narrow doorways Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegeterian options available
Went back twice for a full hearty breakfast the lumberjacks bfst and omg. X3 eggs, yes x 3, bacon, gorgeous proper sausages, toupee ham, potatoes and 2 slices rye bread with jam on the side. It was freshly made, nice and hot. Yes you have to wait as there is only one server but the place is impressive to with a vaulted ceiling and animal heads. Just follow the signs marking the way as vimys is in the middle of Chalets but it also has a great view of the mountains
As much as I want to give it a 5 star. It does not deserve it except for the server who was doing great at her job. I gave 2 star because we waited for an hour for our meal to arrive. A group of people came after us and a family. This group of people order burger and fries only to be served ahead of us i understand is a burger and fries and easy to make but an hour to make it?. A family also waited for a hour and 10-15 mins after our meal were served. We ordered ribs with mashed potatoes, chicken with rice and veggies, poutine and a combo of soup of the day and a salad. Ribs were tasty but mashed potatoes where not homemade it more like pre made or from a commercialized package it was dry and had a sour flavor to it. I would have understand if it had sour cream or onion in it to give that a taste but it was very awful and flavor feels off. It feels expired or taste like rotten milk the after taste. Soup of the day was salmon chowder very good and very fresh. Flavorful. I will recommend this dish. The server was good. But the hopefully kitchen needs some improvements. And also the menu 40 items in it? Please narrow it down to your most popular item.

Everything tasted great, the waitress was very kind and helpful, the onion soup was delicious and we were very comfortable during our visit. The dishes from the kids menu are not at all tiny, as it sometimes happens
I stopped here for dessert with some friends, personally I would not recommend the coconut cheesecake or the lava cake. The ingredients werent that good and they were way too sweet. But what I would recommend are the donuts! My one friend got them and I tried a bit and it was yummy. Considering that each dessert was $10 this isn't really a place that I'd go again.
Love Vimy's, great food, entertainment, service, and overall atmosphere! I stayed at the Lodge connected to Vimy's when I got engaged and we were so happy with the service. Dropped in today, its the off season and it is quiet and the staff are so pleasant. Tried the peanut butter bison burger, which I was a bit skeptical to try but whoa! Very good. 10/10 would recommend, thank you for the wonderful experience, looking forward to visiting again soon!
Another great place in Waterton to eat. Several levels and a deck. Was open all winter this year. Good quality food and fair prices considering you are in a national park. A little hard to find the first time. Sort of in the center of town a block off from the two main streets. They have a couple's special that includes one or two nights at the hotel as well. Looking forward to trying that out next winter for something fun. Good service and nice ambiance.
Fresh and tasty food. Tasty soups. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Three-floor levels with ample place for everyone. Pleasant window views. Full bar. Bigger tables for groups. Background music.
