I truly appreciate how he runs his clinic! It's not a high tech looking facility but it's extremely clean. He is very honest and transparent about what he is doing and the cost. He is very friendly, respectful and very good with every pet I have taken there over 12 years. I originally had him at Fort Erie Animal Hospital His staff is also very kind. I have been to other facilities and had vets talk down to me or walked out with a huge bill for very little. I have had only great experiences for myself and my pets under his care.
Today our beloved cat took an unfortunate turn in his health. I could not get him in to our regular vet for 2 days. After a few phone calls Lakeshore Animal Hospital was kind enough to take us in. Things got progressively worse, I drove right there and they took us in right away. The staff was so compassionate, gave us the much needed time to say our goodbyes and let us make our own decisions. We can’t thank you enough for getting us in so quickly and making the last minutes of our wonderful cats life so peaceful. We are grateful for your services. Caren, Caitlyn and Chris
This clinic is hands down the best! I have a different vet as I live out of town but I had a serious emergency with one of my dogs and the veterinarian Dr.Nabeel took such good care of my dog, I called them even though they closed at 5, they took me in right away and stayed after hours, him and his team were the most compassionate people ever and helped nurse my precious baby back to health !!!
We had a traumatic experience of our dog being attacked by another dog. Dr.Nabeel Al-Asawi was so compassionate not only to our dog but to us as well. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dog was well taken care of and mended Stella back to health.
I met Dr. Nabeel, before he had his own clinic, while dealing with issues of one of my daughters, Dachshunds. I ran into him in a local grocery store about 6 months after the dog had been referred for testing at Guelph University. I was extremely surprised when he brought up Coopers problems and wanted to know what had been found and what was being done for him. Since I was the one to take Cooper to Guelph, I had copies of all the paperwork from the appointment. I was again pleasantly surprised when he asked if I wouldn't mind sending him the information for his own knowledge. When I asked him if he was working with the previous clinic, he said he was planning on opening a clinic locally. I was thoroughly impressed. In fact, I always preferred to deal with him for my pets when he worked for the previous clinic, so once he had his clinic open, I started to go there. I would highly recommend him, he is extremely caring and knowledgeable and still takes courses to improve his knowledge and keep up to date with current practices.
Just moved to Fort Erie and this was our first visit to this animal hospital and our first impression was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff and the Vet was great. Very thorough with our big boy Maximus who is an aging Leonberger so we're really thankful to have found you. It appears that our 2 Leo's and Min Pin will be in great hands. Maximus is doing much better. Thank you all!
Fast and friendly! Dr. Al-azawi has always been great with our dogs, and saved ones life, after hours, took 2 IV bags into him.
Liked it here. Except that the basic come in rate consultation/examination, that is charged even if you don't want it, went up to $70.
They were totally awesome with my kitten and his first needles and the second time with his rabies shot very kind considerate and gentle. Here's an update on my review since this I have had my one cat neutered and they did a fantastic job no complications after was nice and clean and terrific aftercare highly recommend and they have also taken my second kitten in for an emergency check as we thought he may have gotten into something he shouldn't have and was vomiting and once again they were great understanding caring and was right on top of it because it was an emergency. The Siamese as sassy he's a year-and-a-half and the white one is Angel short for Criss Angel cuz he disappears all the time LOL he's about nine months and also getting ready to go in to be fixed.
This vet and his assistant "Christy" are piece of work. He gave my cat an injection without my authorization. Forgot to hydrate a senior cat who hadn't eaten in days and had to go back in when reminded. He then charged for a urinalysis that never took place. He never did an essential x-ray to look for a blockage. When asked to re-imburse for services not rendered, they refused unless I returned to the clinic and got it in cash rather than write a reimbursement cheque and put it in the mail. I had to pay another vet to correct Nabeel's incompetence and save my cat's life. Since 2013, this vet has been suspended twice! I've now filed a complaint with the college. DON'T GO TO THIS CLINIC!! ZERO STARS!!!!
