This morning my coworker was in tears because she had taken her car to another auto shop and had her winter tires put on, but something was definitely not right when she drove her car in the morning. I called Derek on very short notice and told him the situation, to which he told me he was very busy but he would definitely fit in her car to see what the problem is. And thank God he did! He discovered the left front tire was loose and a stud and nut had broken right off of her car, leaving a potential for a bad outcome if not fixed. He tighted the lug nuts on the tires and ensured it was safe enough for her to return to the initial auto shop for them to fix her car. He didn't charge her a dime, only said he was glad to help so no one got hurt! This man was a heaven sent angel today and I would recommend you put your vehicle in his hands!
Derek the owner of lakefront Motors was exceptionally accommodating. I have been looking for a good mechanic who is honest and I found them. Friends of mine from work turns me on the lakefront Motors I've been there twice now and had an excellent experience both times. They are up front and try to save you as much money as possible to resolve your mechanical issues. I travel all the way to Lakefront Motors from Acton Ontario and it is worth the trip. Having peace of mind with an honest mechanic can never be beat thank you Derek for your service and I thank Matthew for your expertise in servicing my vehicle.Services: Battery
Very bad experience. Had a diesel work truck go in and out as they couldn't diagnose why my engine light was on. Changed 4000$ plus of work which did nothing. I took it to a far more experienced mechanic and he couldn't believe what they did. I was ripped off huge. The only issue was a starter lol. My vehicle has worked perfect ever since. On top of that they damaged the roof of my vehicle and never told me. I found it when I returned home :. I had enough of these guys and moved on. I highly recommend not bringing any vehicle to this place
I used to go to a different mechanic shop that also located on lakeshore before transitioning over to Lakefront Motors. Dereck and Matt are the ultimate duo. Easy to work with, genuine and helpful people that can relate. Reason I left my old shop is because they did not stand behind their work. I took the problem to Lakefront Motors, paid again but actually had it fixed in under a day. I have recommended all my friends and family to this shop and will continue to do so. They are the best mechanic shop in Mississauga. I’d like to stick with them for good as it is hard to find trustworthy people to work with. Ps. These guys stay true to their work and if something is not fixed as it should’ve been done, they wont hit you with an extra cost. They re-examine, fix and end of story!
