Lake Porter Primary Care

My family and I saw Dr. Mirochna and his staff for 3 years. We were happy with care, however, if you call the office and leave a message, do not expect a return phone call. If you get one, it’ll be 3-4 days after you’ve called. If you speak with one of the nurses, be prepared to feel rushed during your conversation and made to feel as if your needs and wants are not important. My family and I moved out of state a little over a month ago. We are currently waiting for our insurance to approve our requested primary care manager change, but in the meantime we still have to go through our previous primary care physician for all refills, etc. I submitted a refill request on July 27, 2018, it’s now July 31, 2018 and it still has not been approved by said doctor. From what I’ve seen the last three years being a patient of this doctor, and with his office staff, you as a person/patient are not made a priority. When they feel it needs to be done, they’ll do it, but not until then.
