Old Lake Louise Station now a neat restaurant. The food was delicious and staff were friendly. You can still hear the trains go by sitting in the restaurant. The decor is nice. Items that could be found in a train stations still can be found around the building. There's an outdoor sitting area. Would recommend to swing by if feeling some good sit down food in the area.
A Hidden Gem in Plain Sight I had an incredible experience at Lake Louise Railway Station. Such a quaint, historic building Interior photo with the most accommodating staff and best service of any restaurant in the area. I was traveling alone and found the atmosphere so welcoming. Meagan was an exceptional server; extremely attentive and pleasant. As you can see, my dinner was to die for...the duck was prepared to perfection in a light morel mushroom sauce with a delicious variety of vegetables cooked to perfection. The plate was a work of art, so I took a photo to show my wife since I devoured the meal. This is a Don't Miss experience.
Excellent. Located in the original train station built in 1910. Real cracking fireplace, great decor and ambiance. Fairly simple menu. We both had the chefs plate which was Duck Breast that day. I had French Onion Soup and my wife had Butter Nut Squash soup. Excellent wine selection, many from the BC Okanagan. We both had Strawberry Rhubarb Pie for dessert. Great service. Really enjoyed our evening. Will go back again when we are in the area.
Had a chance to try this amazing local favorite in Lake Louise. Not only are the food amazing, the staff is so friendly and the place is full of history. They just opened again today for their summer hours so please check them out if you are in the area!! A must try!!!!! They are only open for part of the week now so give them a call or email to book your reservations! Am looking forward to returning in the summer!
Nice place to grab some dinner. I went for the salmon gravlax - salad tasted a bit old but the salmon was very tasty. The ribs came as a big portion and they were super soft. Definitely recommend. Service was very friendly and quick, shout-out to Maegan!
Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Overall excellent dining experience in every regard. The restaurant is set in a historic train station right on the tracks in Lake Louise. It was fun to watch the trains go by. Highly recommend.
True 5 stars! The best restaurant we found in the Lake Louise/Banff area! Excellent Salmon, Ribs, Bison Burger, fresh rolls and re-stuffed potato. The service was excellent, very friendly and fast! Great value! Located in a historic train station built circa 1910. There are some great pictures on the walls. If you are reading this and considering whether to stop in, do yourself a favor and go for it. Reservations required, and they do fill up.
Reservation only, but very cool and unique setting! Food was fantastic and service was very friendly! Will definitely book again next time in Lake Louise area!
We managed to get a table even though we didn’t make a reservation. The ambience in this place and how majority if the station was preserved. The service was great. We tried the chef’s special that day which was duck. The portion was huge.
Amazing vibe. You can see the antique stuff all over the restaurant and the train from 90s that they used to use as part of the restaurant. It’s only open for events now though. Foods are okay, but great customer service and atmosphere!
