You gotta try these dogs.. Better than any I ever had in Detroit or Chicago. The real deal.. Makes G'L look like gas station food..

I visited last November after having spent a couple hours at the USS Silversides submarine museum. The setting is very simple inside and I was quickly greeted, it wasn't busy at the time. A nice young lady took my order and I had my food faster than most fast food chains can do. The young lady brought my order to me. Food wise, I try to have a few other places with similar foods tried before leaving a review so I can give what I feel is the most accurate. I would have liked my food just a touch hotter, that said, it was in the ball park of the others. Taste wise, it was all good. I should have ordered another couple of dogs! The menu was pretty common place with this type of restaurant. They did have a couple items not offered by others. Food and place was simple with reasonable prices, quick and friendly service. Great food, especially after a visit to the USS Silversides.

Tried this place out today with my girlfriend and it honestly had one of the best chili dogs I have ever had they serve fresh and fast food I was very pleased with this place also ordered a cheese burger and fries and that as well was amazing we will definitely be coming back

Went for lunch today. Originally from the Detroit area. And they are spot on with the coney's. Good food good price. And the workers were friendly and clean. I will be back. I mean what's better than getting a coney and looking at the lake? Hope you stay in business for years to come.

Both the Chicago dog and coney my husband and I had were really good. Excellent onion rings. Local sodas. Can't beat kogels dogs well unless you're in the UP and get volworths

Was excited to try this place. Paid almost 30 dollars for hotdogs and onion rings and then my buns were crunchy. Pretty disappointed my homie hyped it up for me.

Awesome food for a great price. Restaurant was cozy and clean, and they had great coneys. I highly recommend if you want a small diner by the lake!

Don't drive too fast and miss this little Lakeside gem. They work some magic at this spot. The Coneys we were served were perfection. The buns and onions were fresh. A bite into the juicy and flavorful dog gives that delightful "snap" that tells you this is quality. The chili sauce was smooth, meaty and not greasy. Staff was friendly, space was clean. Looking forward to going back for more.
