One of our favorite places in Olympic National Park. The lake is amazing, peaceful, and beautiful. The lodge is very nice and has a great restaurant. The rooms are National Park standard fare -- clean, nothing fancy, and a bit dated. We went for a 5-course dinner and wine tasting event, and spent the night. Great food, some really good wine, and no need to drive home until the next day. Highly recommend it.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Olympic National Park. We are both in our late twenties and agree we would not stay here again until we are 55+. Has a charming first appearance with amazing lake and mountain views but as soon as you enter the lodge you are instantly disappointed. Everything is so outdated it smells like your Grandmothers holiday sweaters. Decor is also dated. There is one bathroom per gender for 10 rooms (one shower as well). Restaurant looked appealing but we found an awesome restaurant in town where we could get two even more delicious meals for the price of one. We were fine staying here for two nights but agree we would not stay for an extended period of time.

The lodge has a great view of lake. We were there mid October for a day, not much to do around, but a short hike to the fall. The Pyramid room is much better than we thought. Clean and pretty spacious, include a full bath and one extra sink. And they utilize the wood element in the room very well, which we like it a lot. The view from our window worth every penny of the price. If that is not enough, we could just sit on the balcony outside and appreciate the lake quietly.

This is exactly what you expect a lodge inside a national park to be. Rooms (marymere rooms) are dated and old but large and feel clean. The view and location are worth the less nice accommodations. The main lodge is stunning and like it was pulled out of book. The restaurant was good for breakfast though service was slow you could not beat the view. I hope to try the other on site lodges at my next visit.

we just came back home after cutting our trip short in lake crescent lodge. We booked our room about 2 month in advance and counting down for the date. unfortunately the rooms are not as clean as it should be. you can smell mold in the rooms. I wish they paid more attention to keep this only lodge as beautiful as the lake crescent area. On top of this, we heard/read this place is good for a romantic gateway and is relaxing by the lake. However it was so busy with lots of folks with kids running around that it was so hard even to be relax for a minute. All in all, I would suggest hotel administration when they charge such high price for their rooms to at least making some upgrades and keeping the place at better shape. It might be a good place for excursion but not romantic neither relaxing!!
