Lake Area Bank

Their customer service is mediocre at best. Been waiting 45 days for a HELOC loan to get approve. Just found out today, that I am still on the waiting list. Simply because the loan processor, Jim Peterson has not processed my loan or order an appraisal for my existing home. This is frustrating because I had spoken with the branch manager and reception lady about passing messages and left him plenty of voicemails to return my calls. 45 days and no appraisal ordered, means that it would take another 30 to 45 days if my loan is processed right away. Very frustrating when you give out your personal information, Trust In a Small Town Bank and the individual in charge of processing that stuff forward does nothing.

Used to bank here, customer service has gone downhill big time, if you have multiple accounts they screw things up.

I love this bank! I can cash checks from people even if I don't have matching funds. Plus a million other reasons why I give them a 5 star rating.
