La Taverne du Pélican

This place is so charming! An eclectic, old cinema feel has been inbedded in the interior design, making this place feel warm and cozy as soon as you walk in. It's everything you want in a cozy local bar. The popcorn machine and pool table is a huge plus. One downside: it can get insanely busy in the later hrs of the night due to its perfect location. A lot of restaurant staff end up here to party. But, between 5-9pm its super, super chill. Always a great playlist, and the staff is STELLAR.

Saturday night, we walk around the streets to find a place to sit down and catch up. We find this place. Such a nice homey environement, with nice decor, it came to our surprise that this place was not pack. They have a nice pool table, free popcorn and very affordable drinks. The place is upscale and clean, looks very trendy not like a dive bar. I wasn't a fan of my Caesar, and that is the only reason this got a 4 out of 5 and not full stars.

Awsome neighbourhood bar to hang out with the locals. Excellent beer selection. Did not try the food.

A more under-ratted spot in town. This place is an hidden gem. With free pool, free popcorn and nice cozy decor you can't go wrong here. It only gets 4 stars as the drinks weren't that par with other spots we've tried. But, considering this place is not full of people, it gives you and your friends the opportunity to catch up and not look for seats or need to yell to speak.

The chill vibes of a dive bar I love dive bars but with nice staff/owners and better drinks and nicer decor. A dive bar for semi-respectable adults? I want them to do well but stay just hidden enough that I can always get a table when wandering by.

The only thing better than the drinks and the popcorn is the company. Edit: After visiting with my wife I am amending my review to say: From the moment you walk through the front door you feel welcomed. From tasty popcorn and delicious mixed drinks you can't go wrong with a stop by Le Pelican

Nice place to chill out , and there s a pool table . Good beer and shooters , and on top of that lets not forget the popcorn .
