La Sem Patisserie

My uncle purchased a black forest cake from here and it was ok but not fabulous. The whipped cream's texture was overly dense and a few people made comments about it. The cake layers were light and fluffy and the cherry filling was pleasing, but the consensus was that the whipped cream layer could use improvement. As our family has been eating La Sem products for years, the seniors seemed to think that the quality has declined.

We ordered Gluten free cake , and it was one of the best i had in my life. Price 10 stars, quality 20 stars, and taste 100 stars.. overall 1000 stars, i am so happy. Thank you LA SEM

I believe for us it's a tradition to order cake from here as their cakes are amazing. I know we all have our good or not so good experience that happened with us as well when we try to tweak our cake but overall it's always amazing. Eggles cakes or we can say it Vegan cake is amazing but bread or base is lill less soft as comapre to Normal one. But if we have 5 occasions we get our cake from them and Bachi cake is amazing that's our ritual because we love the taste of the cake here.

I walked into the store, a really nice lady was very welcoming. I wasn't sure if they carried any Tiramisu cake, she said Yes, questioned how many are going to enjoy it, and recommended me to buy a small one. I did, and it was really yummy.. Really enjoyed it.

Absolutely 1 of the best bakeries in Mississauga. Family owned and operated, everything is grade A+. Since 1961 u cant go wrong, fresh made to order cakes for all occasions, items in the glass case from cakes to cookies and even gelato ready to go. Fresh bread Thursday Friday Saturday

Their chocolate cannolis are horrible and taste funny...I could swear I could taste pieces of pineapple in there. Their vanilla cannolis are better, but nothing to rave about. Their Zeppole however is the absolute worst...soggy, and burn-your-stomach sweet. I could not finish it. Next time I get a hankering for cannolis, I will go to Fortinos Note: they put RUM in everything!

I Ordered my sons baptism cake here. Super friendly and easy to deal with showed me all my options. Picked up cake day of baptism and it was beautiful. All of my guest loves the cake it was so fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend and buy again from this location. Thank you so much.

2 star because I ordered same day and they accommodated. I sent them a picture of a cake they said they could do it. Very simple one logo on it. When they sent me a picture of it done they used icing and it looked very messy. No phone call or anything. Asked for block letters got cursive. Cake looked very childish and was for an adult, uneven sides and messy looking. Definitely not worth the $70+ dollars. When I spoke to the owner she would cut me off and wouldn't let me get a word in, I'd start saying a word and she would go off with excuses and saying the baker went home! Did not offer any discount or apology. Said the letters can be scraped off but the red would not be the same and the cake would probably look worse in the end. Horrible customer service. Will not order here again.

I was a student training here and was disgusted by some of the things that happened. Mouldy yeast was used to create bread. Pastries dropped on the floor were sold instead of being thrown out. Aside from these unsanitary food practices their customer service and catering services are welcoming and respectful. Although their food tastes very good and professional, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from there.
