Family owned and have been running for quite sometime! Super sweet couple with genuine nice conversations. Prices have gone up to support the times but quality hasn't changed, which is good ! Fav spot and highly recommend trying all the different Banh mi. Enjoy and happy eat !
Best Banh Mi spot in the whole city, if not the whole GTA. The older couple who run this spot has been doing it for years, I've been coming here since I came to Canada well over 10 years ago. They are super popular so they sell out early, don't expect much in the evening hours. Never had a banh mi as good as from this place, and will always continue to reccomend it to everyone.
Prices have gone up steadily but that isn't their fault and I would rather that than lose the quality of the banh mi. The owners are super friendly when they aren't busy making 40 sandwiches! I've been coming here for years but moved out of the area and it was great going back in earlier this week and having the lady recognise me! Even though English is limited this doesn't stop them from trying to get to know their regulars and I'm very happy they're still there! I mentioned the price being raised but still extremely affordable and filling.
I didn’t have a favourite banh mi place in Mississauga until now. I happened to come across this hidden gem by chance and I’m so glad I stopped in. Delicious banh mis!!! I always get extra pate, and add nem nuong pork sausage to my sandwiches. I’m looking forward to grabbing a few sandwiches on Monday for lunch :
BEST BANH MI IN THE GTA !! They tend to run out by the early afternoon so I'd recommend getting your banh mi quick. I've been eating here my entire life and the taste and quality of the banh mi have stayed the same. Absolutely scrumptious.
Pros - the lard and filling was tasty, price is decent Cons - smaller in size, only one slice of each meat for the assorted, which I felt was a bit little compared to other banh mi places, bread was stale so didn't enjoy the full experience
The store hours say they close at 7pm Monday, Wednesday-Friday. Ive gone there twice in the past week - one at 630pm and they were closed which i thought i can understand because maybe they didnt have any more customers and decided to close. The second time i went at 611pm and they were already closed. Its fine if you guys close at 6pm but it would be nice if you guys stated that on google AND on your store window. Ive had their banh mi multiple times and enjoyed it, but im going to have find another place now.
My all time favourite banh mi place! The banh mi is always so delicious and has me coming back whenever I crave one. The staff is very friendly, fast, and efficient. I recommend getting the assorted banh mi, very tasty.
Best banh mi in Mississauga. Worth the trip. They had already run out of half the menu when we got there and it was only 1PM. Love the pate that they use. So flavourful. Worth the 30 minute drive from my place. Cash only!
Love this place! Super nice owners who take pride in their products. Best banh mi in all of GTA in my opinion, and I've tried them all: shops on Spadina in Toronto, Vaughan, East Chinatown ... This place sets the standard: baguette to filling ratio, balance of crispy/crunchy/chewy textures, delicious variety of fillings from the classic mix, to in-house made meats of fish, sausages, fresh & neatly cut vegetable and cilantro garnishes, sharp bite of fresh chili for that authentic accent. The trendy shops written up on Toronto Life, BlogTO don't compare to this store's stuff. Their menu is limited, but what they do they do it well. After trying different breads for a bit, they've got it perfect now ... the long skinny crispy baguette does it for me. Their "butter" on their subs has always been the bomb! My fave is the meatball warmed up ... if they haven't yet sold out. Tried their steamed rice rolls too which are also amazing. Love this amazing eatery that I've frequented for many, many years for myself & children. I only discovered it as I often shop at Grants grocery @ the Dixie High Point Mall. This bakery deserves more respect & love. Closed on Tuesdays. UPDATE: I've tried to buy a bahn mi at 4pm-4:30 five times and they 've run out of bread by that time. Closing at 7pm or 6pm, they consistently run out. They have plenty of fillings but no bread. Their remedy is call them in advance to order. Customers I see picking up their orders do so 6-12 at a time, estimating by the size of the bags I see go out. I'm not that well planned, and I only want one to eat right away or for lunch the next day. Not going to WASTE my time with this gem that can't adjust their bread production to keep up with the demand. Sad , as I've been buying here for 18 years and the service has been inept in that I have to call them vs. making more bread to serve customers2-3 hours before closing. I guess Customers who aren't part of the Vietnamese community aren't important anymore. Will have to find another place that has food available after 4pm for $4.50 /bahn mi. Letting go of desire to find inner peace!
