3rd year in a row we stopped in for a Anniversary drink with our friends, Awesome atmosphere and love the bar top that is lit up

Made a reservation on Open Table and we were treated to a fantastic night out.  The owner also doubles as the chef and server was informative, prompt and attentive.  Food was excellent!  Such a great little hidden gem.

The atmosphere is unmatched in Winnipeg thus far.

This was my first time trying Cafe La Scala. The owner was super relaxed and you could tell he really loved his food. He asked us what we felt like eating and would make something special just for us off menu. The service was great and the food was superb! Great dining experience!

We went early and were the only ones there.  Owner was very personable and welcoming.  Food is great - the sauce on the dumplings is a must try.  Will go again.

Amazing customer service. Really tasty food and were treated like family!

We loved this restaurant. It didn't have the most stylish or classy decor but the food was top notch. And the owner is an absolute card who gives everyone his best.
