La Salvadoreña Restaurant

Nice, clean store. Very mellow atmosphere, downright quiet. I order a burrito and its ready within 10-15 minutes. Burritos are decently sized at a very reasonable price. Authentic food. Great for casual dining.

I have, regrettably, been to La Salvadorena far less often than I would prefer. The food Is absolutely fantastic and the people who work there could not be more pleasant or accommodating. This place is a gem! Aberdeen is extremely blessed the owners chose to provide their excellent food and service in their town! I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to, and able to, continue to patronize this very worthy restaurant. I only wish I lived closer!

We bounced around the couple of Mexican restaurants in town and just weren't finding anything authentic. A friend recommended La Salvadoreña and we have finally found our joint. The food is delicious, modestly priced and filling. You know when you see lengua on the menu you're on the right track and they prepare it well here. Definitely worth a visit if your looking to fulfill a taco craving.

Delicious papusas stuffed with cheese and chicken or zucchini or spinach or several other choices. Great stop on way to the coast.

Used to love this restaurant despite feeling a little fearful about sticky, shared sauce bottles. We still ate here and loved it. Not sure when it changed it.. recipes have been a little different for a couple months. Tonight we tried it again and there was a hair in my salsa.. Then a few minutes later I discovered an eyelash in my rice/beans. Showed all to waitress, who apologized. We won't eat here anymore.
