La Marqueza Mexican Tacos & Market

We had a great experience at this cozy Mexican restaurant. The staff was very hospitable and we ordered three different types of tacos, each full of flavor and authentic. The small portion of rice was cooked to perfection and provided a great complement to the tortillas. We also tried a unique side dish which seemed to be a mixture of taro and potato which was creamy and delicious.nnIn addition to delicious food, the restaurant offers a variety of Mexican ingredients and products for sale. We couldn't resist buying some chili peppers and sauces and we're excited to try making some specialty Mexican dishes at home using these authentic ingredients.nnOverall, full of great food, friendly service and a great selection of Mexican products. Recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Mexican food and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Located in the heart of the Osoyoos and free roadside parking available. Servers were very friendly and helpful. The food served fresh and well decorated. Different hot and mild sauces were available for making taste more bold. So the served meals were not very spicy and could suit for most people. Prices were reasonable I believe. Just be noted that you should pay extra for adding meat to the most of the items. Also, customers could pick and buy sauces from some shelves at the side,

I arrived just three minutes before their closing time of 6:30 on a Sunday evening, and yet was still greeted by a very friendly staffer who shared with me that I would need to submit an order to the kitchen quickly to ensure that I could still be served before they were scheduled to close. I had no trouble picking the taco platter with spicy chicken and a side of guacamole. I entertained myself with a beer while I waited for my food which arrived very quickly, and as you can see in the photo, the tacos, rice and beans were beautifully prepared. They tasted as good as they looked and, despite feeling especially hungry, the three tacos and rice and beans, were plenty enough for me. The guacamole was fresh and the avocados must have been perfectly ripe as it had a smooth texture and delicious avocado flavour. They also provided a good collection of hot sauces and I chose one that added just enough spice, and really enhanced the flavour for me. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, as they were incredibly accommodating, despite that I’m sure the staff would have been happy to head home on time. The fact that they were willing to feed a last minute gringo really impressed me. I’m going to ensure that I can stop here each time I’m passing through Osoyoos. The residents are lucky to have this little gem of a place.

The taste is very good. It's a shame that we couldn't try some options because they ran out, but I would eat here again. We ordered Enmoladas, tacos de tinga and quesadillas, everything tasted incredible.nThey have a huge variety of Mexican products.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. We stopped in osoyoos and heard good things about this place. We had some delicious tacos accompanied with rice and beans, for an affordable price. Was happy to see some vegan options as well. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was great, would go again!
